âOverall, you get a lot for your money with breakfast included. Sleeping in a tent is obviously very simple accomondation which we expected but what really surprised us was the loud people around us making noise until 3 in the morning. For a place like this we really expected some peace and quiet and at least a rule that says that it should be quiet after a certain time. Its really a shame that this ruined our nights here so we had to leave one day earlier. The owner payed us back for that night...
âThe resort exceeded my expectations. Theyâre affordable and customer service was outstanding. They meet you at the airport and take care of all the logistics in getting you to the resort. We were greeted with warmth and smiles. The beach was right in-front of my room. Very quiet, serene, and loads of water activities to do. They also have options for Island hopping. If you are going to Palawan this should be the #1 consideration.â
âDO NOT BOOK! - this place does not exist anymore (we were talking to many people in town - no one new this place). Hotels.com does not support you with any refund, they donât care that they have properties on their website which doesnât exist. I book around 150-180 rooms per year and I can only suggest you to not book this property since your money will be gone.â
âI love the staff in Isla Amara. They were there for us through and through during our 5 night stay that turned into 6 night due to storms. Kate, Rochelle, and other staff were superb. Thank you everyone for such great service.â
âWe really enjoyed our stay in Bacpackers Island! The beautiful beach was breathtakingly beautiful and overall feeling very peaceful.
This is a new family business and that's why there are no many reviews yet. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. Food was excellent too!
There are three shared toilets that were in very good condition and three outdoor showers.
The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling.

âWe came with the ferry from Coron to El Nido and had instructions to take the van from a hostel there to Erlittop, worked fine. An advice is to ask for instructions. Itâs about a one hour ride.
We had booked two nights in the very basic hut but upgraded to a bungalow with our own toilet and shower after one night. And stayed some more nights since we liked it so much.
No air con or fan in the huts but the wind on the hill made it ok. And no electricity during daytime so charge your stuff at...
âA stay at the Vue Grand Hilltop is a wonderful experience. As the name suggests you'll enjoy great views over the neighboring islands and you can actually watch the sunrise from your bed. All the bungalows are built in traditional style, all wood and with great natural ventilation. Not having air-con was never a problem.

âThey didnât started on top when our pre-booked shuttle didnât showed up at airport. Waited an hour until a security guard at the airport helped us order a tricycle. Some misunderstanding between booking office and the reception was the answer, but they paid for our tricycle.
It was a nice and modern hotel. Not a resort for pool relaxing because they only have few sun beds and always occupied. Even towels were few. Always in laundry was the answer.
The rooms were tiny and dark. Always humid...
