âHotellet ligger mycket avsides och det Ă€r bra om du söker riktigt lugnt. Det finns ingenting pĂ„ promenad avstĂ„nd iaf vi har inte hittat och inte heller i receptionen kunde de tipsa om nĂ„got intressant runt omkring hotellet. Hotellet Ă€r mycket slitet och maten Ă€r inte god. Skulle inte rekommendera detta hotell.â
âNice comfortable hotel with pleasant staff , gorgeous view ,close to town center, seafront position has easy access to the beach and harbour with many pubs and restaurants and activities along the seafront.â

"Live entertainment" pÄ kvÀllarna tills kl.23.00 - ibland mycket bra, ibland önska man det skulle tystnar sÄ man kunde sova !

âFirst time away with my partner on holiday for one night, the rooms were wonderful, nice spacious area and comfy beds. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Just wished the check in was before 3pm but overall wonderful hotel to stay in for a night away or two. Definitely coming back again. â
âA wonderful hotel across the road from the beach. Check in was very easy, the gentleman was happy and informative. The room had everything we needed including a fan, clean, well kept and beautifully simple. Very quiet at night, with a comfortable bed, breakfast was brilliant with multiple choices, cooked quickly and the chef was great. The garden was great especially in the evenings and the bar was reasonably priced. All the staff we met were happy to chat or recommend a place to go.

âThe rooms were clean and well serviced. The bed was solid and comfy. The staff were very helpful. I saw people have had issues with the water pressure in the showers. I waited about twenty seconds for the pump to kick in and it was a great shower.
Comments about the walls being thin. On the first night I had nightmare neighbours. But Steve promptly dealt with them and no more noise. Simples. I was there for 5 nights. Had different, more courteous neighbours during the rest of my stay. No...

âWe had a very comfortable stay at the hotel and were impressed with the facilities and friendly staff. We returned for the 2nd time having also enjoyed our first stay. Love the views of Torbay and the internal architecture and furnishings of the hotel. It was a shame that the outdoor pool was closed but enjoyed the indoor pool / spa facilities.â
âThe first room we were given was not up to 3 star standard.
We contacted reception the next morning and they were very considerate and we were offered an alternative room that was more acceptable. The location, food and the staff were excellent. We hope to return.â

"Vi blev lite chockade nÀr vi kom, dÄ hotellet verkar vara under renovering. Gissar att det var nya Àgare, och att det blir bra.
Det var fullt med folk utanför, nÄgon snickrade pÄ ett plank och resten berkade bara hÀnga. Det lÄg skrÀp lite överallt, och Àven inne i hotellet lÄg det högar med sÄnt som rivits ned och troligen skulle kastas.
HeltÀckningsmattorna hade behövts tÀckts över eller i alla fall dammsugits, sÄ man bodde liksom pÄ en arbetsplats.
Det var billigt, sÄ vi valde ÀndÄ att stanna, dÄ vi "bara" skulle sova. Parkeringen fick man betala extra för.
Hur som helst, det var lite trĂ„ngt och trassligt att ta sig upp till rummet med vĂ€skorna, men rummet var rent och sĂ€ngen helt okej. Vi fick havsutsikt, och det var en stor rymlig balkong utanför med ett bord och stolar. Och med fiskmĂ„sar... dom gick knappt att skrĂ€mma bort, men dĂ„ jag alltid reser med en liten sprayflaska med vatten, sĂ„ skruvade jag Ă„t till en hĂ„rd strĂ„le och sprutade pĂ„ dom nĂ„gra gĂ„nger, och sen gav dom upp đ
Synd att der var för kallt för att sitta ute.
Det var ett rymligt rum med en mindre dubbelsÀng och en större enkelsÀng, sÄ det blev inte mycket golvyta kvar. Det fanns dock skrivbord och en rymlig hall med en bra stor garderob, men det fanns ingen stol pÄ rummet.
Badrummet var okej, men skulle nog behöva gÄs över i skarvar och tÀtningar.
Det vi saknade var vÀl information om att renovering pÄgick, sÄ man hade varit förberedd.
