âAt check in we were greeted and walked to our room. We were a little early for our reservation and we were allowed right in. Owner showed us around and was incredibly friendly. Other visitors told us some great hiking locations to check out. Continental breakfast laid out nicely. Beautiful view of Mourne Mountains. â
âJust a lovely spot, 5 minutes driving from town and the shore in Newcastle, 15 or so to some great hiking trails. Grounds are very nice and thereâs a gentle climb down to the river, a beautiful spot on the patio to sit out for a drink or morning coffee â and the breakfast was excellent as well (I had to go for the Ulster Fry (similar to the Full English) both mornings. Wish we could have stayed longer, but hope to go back. Seems to be a holiday spot for the Irish and those from the UK, not...

âThis quaint little cottage off of the entrance to Tollymore Forest is perfect to just get away and mend your mental health. I will definitely be there again, perhaps yearly if I can afford it! Jo is easy to contact and is most helpful with everything. Thank you Jo, you are so loved đâ
âA truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! â
âLovely apartment. We had a really nice few days here. No allocated parking, but we never had a problem finding a space close by. Good to have a shop so close (literally under our feet.)
Facilities were good; enough kitchen utensils, pans, etc. that we could cook meals with no problems. Nice bathroom and excellent lounge area. Seating area and space outside as well if the weather permits.
Nice area to walk around as well, with harbour and coast very close by.

"Bra hotell som jag gÀrna skulle bo pÄ igen. Extremt trevlig personal förutom en kvinna i receptionen. Personalen i frukosten var riktigt trevliga. Gratis parkering bakom hotellet inlÄst. Grymt bra italiensk restaurang ca 400 m frÄn hotellet (Scalia). Rekommenderas varmt! "
