âWe had a wonderful experience in Cork. The hotel had everything that we needed. Since this was our third destination on the trip, we badly needed to do some laundry and the hotel has some excellent provision for that. The room was well equipped with a fridge and kitchenette. The location is excellent. The Moxy's bar next door has some awesome drinks and live music. The hotel is close to everything (pretty much). The breakfast is great. The staff is wonderful.

âOne of the best customer service I have ever experienced - far above the expected both at check in, upgrade to a suit without request and personal greeting with complimentary coffee/tea and croissants despite early checkout, including free airport shuttle. A pity it was only for one night, would definitely book again.â
âFantastic place to stay. The views were amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Each day a housekeeper came to empty bins and top up items. So unexpected service and was great. All amenities you need for a great stay. Town totally walkable with lovely shops and lots of history. Cathedral, heritage centre fantastic things to visit. âWe enjoyed our stay at the Imperial Hotel. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. (One quibble- the only window had frosted glass which made the room feel a bit enclosed. âVery nice hotel catering to everyone. They have banquets in adjacent facilities, they have workers and business people, combined with older couples.
Great restaurant down stairs and a gym next door.
Rooms might starting to see some aging, but comfy beds and pillows and it is very nice and clean.

"I stayed for one night only, during a business trip. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two single beds put together. I requested to change, explaining that I have a bad back, but was told that there were no rooms of that type available, and was told they canât do much for me, when the correct thing to do is to offer an upgrade where there is a double bed. Itâs absurd to have to sleep with two beds splitting up underneath oneâs back when one books a room with a king/queen bed.
I also requested to check out an hour later so I could go to the gym, given that my flight was late afternoon. I was abruptly told that they do not allow any late checkouts, despite the statement on the website of the hotel that informs guests that they always try to accommodate late checkouts, and guests should ask.
I travel roughly 150 days a year for work and can say that the service at the Dean Cork is rude, unfriendly, abrasive and just overall lousy.
Bed was cracking and springs could be felt. Cracks on tiles and walls and doors in the room.
