We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. âThe apartment was dark and outdated. The sofabed felt dirty on the outside. Outside there were plastic furniture to use, also dirty. The pool felt in need of renovation. The staff were friendly and if you are not that picky of the standard it felt homey. We ended up renting another place for a few days, even though we couldn't get the money back, we were quite disapointed.â

âWe had a great time staying at Marfisa. Rooms had a nice and modern setup. Pool access was fantastic and dining option was good to have. They welcome guests with the bottle of wine from their own winery- which was a nice gesture. Spa experience was also nice and relaxing.

âThe area requires a car, but it is so peaceful and calm. The only downside is the bathroom in the room - it certainly wasnât in keeping with the service and the rating of the rest of the property. The swimming pool and the food was exceptional.â
