Hotell nära Durango Hot Springs Spa

“The property is immaculately maintained, with an excellent staff and wonderful hosts (Jim and Leslie). Easy drive to Durango, hot springs, Purgatory ski slopes, etc make this one of my favorite B-N-Bs. The morning breakfast is just cherries on top!”

“Fantastic help by the girl in the reception with planning our road trip going west from Durango. She spent a lot of time (when no other customers needed help) coming with advices on how to visit Grand Canyon, come up with more recommendations and plan our trip time wise. Very charming hotel. Simple but clean and nice rooms.”

“Scott, the front desk manager, was very courteous and helpful. On the downside, the TVs remote systems were both very confusing to use. Simple things like figuring out what channel to turn to ....very complicated, little navigating to find the channel guide! Not exactly like some systems as Holiday Inn or Hilton properties use like DIRECTV.”

“Far from Downtown, on the main road (noisy), broken tiles in bathroom, air conditioner loud and did not cool the room much, single-ply toilet paper, no shampoo/conditioner, door lock very difficult to open with actual brass key. Room was clean. Pricepoint was good but not considering the condition. We were disappointed.”

“Very nice river view in our room. Only issue is that shuttle service not available to and from Airport. There are two shuttles on property but are only used for airport staff and not hotel guests. Even if there was a nominal charge we should have been able to use shuttle as taxi service is very unreliable and lengthy. We waited over an hour at airport for taxi.”

“Room looked good on entrance into the room. Little did we know what was awaiting us; broken light switch that you could have stuck your finger in the wiring, missing tiles in bathroom, tore valance, bottle of beer and trash in closet and if you want warm water turn it on way before you want to use it! Pool and hot tub in need of repair not able to use. Laundry out of order. Ice machine locked up after 8p.m. Staff showed no concern when I showed the pictures of the room and had not rooms to move...

“I booked the hostel room. It started with a rude and impatient receptionist that was more busy running around vaping than trying to help. When I did ask for help she said she is not a manager and can't help me and was just impatient and rude. As for the room... You get some linen to cover your bed. There is a sheet and then some sort of quilt (not an actual blanket or comforter) that is so smooth that it never stays on the actual sheet. I could not stay covered with that thing and was cold...

“We stayed in a 2 queen bedroom in June 2026. The room was very old fashioned looking with old furniture. The mattresses were like cement. The room had bugs crawling around in the bathroom area and in the tub. We spent a lot of time killing bugs. The microwave was hiding inside a cupboard on a shelf about one inch above the ground. Really hard to use it when it's basically sitting on the floor. The refrigerator was also on the same level, and it was permanently set at a higher than normal temp (...

“Other than the dog barking in the room next to us, a dead battery in a smoke detector and a bathroom sink that drained ever so slowly it was a nice stay.”
