Thanks so much for the 5 star review Sadie! We’re glad you guys had a great time and got fresh snow! I wanted to address a few of your notes- we just replaced the toaster last week. The baseboard heater does click when it comes on and we have had an HVAC tech out to service it, but apparently it is a relay switch and unfortunately there’s nothing that can be done about it. Beds are a tough one as everyone has a personal preference. Our mattresses are more on the firm side than soft as we have found that they provide better support and appeal to the vast majority of renters. Glad we could get the plumbing issue taken care of quickly! Our plumber recommended we put up a sign to remind guest to not put bacon grease down the sink :) Lastly, the door code is programmed to disable your personalized code at 9:59AM (not 10) per the welcome letter. This time of year we have same day check out/check ins so we have to insure that our cleaning crew can get started right away to prepare for the next guest. Thanks again for visiting Purtopia!

Thanks so much for the great review! We feel very blessed to be able to enjoy everything the Durango area has to offer. This is definitely a 4 seasons destination. We love being able to share this with others. We have hung up our skis, but we love to hear the excitement and joy coming from the young and older skiers alike when we are watching from our balcony. Thanks for taking time to review our condo. I guess I understand your disappointment and agree that your wishing might have kept you from having a great time. I have found myself imagining something like it used to be way back then and end up just a tad disappointed. For instance, I have been looking for that old cabin with a wood burning stove next to a mountain stream in the Creede Colorado area that my family and I stayed in when I was a boy 65 years ago. I can't find it and in reality, it probably is gone by now. WE do our best to not oversell our condo because it just isn't that mountain cabin. I think you will agree that it comes pretty close with the real wood burning fireplace and the spectacular views of the Needles Mountains. All of that, and it is available every day of the year. Unlike that summer cabin at Creede that i am still looking for. Steve Qualls
