As other reviewers have noted, it's in a VERY ideal location--15 to 30 minutes from anything you'd want to explore: small towns, bigger towns, parks, hiking, it's truly a magical area.The field behind the house was perfect for an early morning romp with our dog. “The house was clean and had plenty of space with good views. The road definitely has a steep incline but is easily manageable in summer and the house was close to everything we needed. ”

“The room was very comfortable to stay in, although I thought I detected a slight musky smell when I first entered it. The service was very good and efficient. The breakfast and afternoon snacks (which included Onion soup) was so well cooked and delicious. The building is great looking and the private riverside area and covered bridge just a few steps away were so welcome bonuses to my stay. Highly recommended.”
