Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. ”

“To be surrounded by a garden and stay in a classic hotel with a long history was a nice experience. Just a short walk and you are downtown Nuwara Eliya. We enjoyed the tea experience with Umesh and happily bought delicious tea!”

“It was a decent hotel with a very sweet older couple running it. They were very nice and helpful and made good homemade breakfast up on the roof. The location was pretty bad, outside the city center and up a steep hill and quite hard to find. The walk between the hotel and city center was not very pleasant. The room was quite nice and big but could get cold at night so you had to use a portable heater. One of the neighboring hotels played extremely loud music at night and made it hard to...

“Our stay at Araliya Green City was amazing. We received a traditional welcome (lighting of Oil lamp, garland) Our room ws sòoooooo spacious. It had 4 washrooms, 3 fire places, 2 massive king size beds, living room, dining room, fully functional kitchen with 5 appliances. Washer and dryer. It had the best view. Special Thanks to Thiyagu at the front office who treated us like family. The General Manager - Dinesh pays attention to every details..”
