Our charming holiday home is situated directly on the water at It Wiid holiday park in Earnewâld, in the heart of De Alde Feanen National Park. With a spacious, fully enclosed garden, a private jetty and plenty of opportunities for boating, cycling and walking, it is a wonderful place for families, couples, nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts.

The holiday home accommodates up to five guests, as well as a baby or toddler. Its comfortable interior, green garden and waterfront location make it an ideal base for a relaxing holiday in Friesland.

## Comfortable and Inviting Interior

The holiday home offers approximately 65 m² of living space and is situated on a plot of around 300 m². The property has been warmly decorated in a calm, Scandinavian-inspired style.

The bright living room features a comfortable corner sofa, a dining table for five guests and French doors leading directly onto the terrace and into the garden. The flat-screen television includes an extensive selection of channels, including ESPN, as well as access to apps such as Netflix and Videoland.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, combination microwave oven, coffee machine and kettle. Crockery, pans and other kitchen utensils are also provided.

Free Wi-Fi and central heating ensure a comfortable stay throughout the year.

## Three Comfortable Sleeping Areas

There are two bedrooms on the upper floor. The first bedroom has two comfortable single beds that can be placed together to form a double bed. The second bedroom has one single bed.

On the ground floor, there is a spacious and cosy sleeping alcove with a large double bed. This provides a comfortable sleeping option for guests who prefer to stay on the ground floor.

The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and includes a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. As both a sleeping area and the bathroom are located downstairs, the house may also be suitable for guests who prefer to avoid using the stairs as much as possible.

## Spacious Garden with a Private Jetty

One of the main highlights of the holiday home is its spacious green garden directly beside the water. The French doors in the living room open onto the terrace, where you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast, share a meal outside or relax at the end of the day while taking in the surroundings.

The garden is fully enclosed, making it particularly convenient for families with young children and guests bringing a dog. Pets are welcome, provided the rules of the holiday park are observed.

The private jetty offers direct access to the water and the Frisian lakes. You can moor your own or a rented boat beside the holiday home and explore the surrounding waterways straight from the garden.

A private parking space for one car is available next to the property. Additional vehicles can be parked in the central car park at the holiday park.

## Family-Friendly Facilities

Families with young children are well catered for. A high chair, travel cot and changing mat are available in the holiday home. The holiday park also has several children’s playgrounds.

The combination of the enclosed garden, child-friendly facilities and peaceful location makes the house a lovely destination for a family holiday. As the property is situated directly beside the water, young children must, of course, always be supervised.

You can explore the surrounding countryside directly from the holiday home. The area is ideal for:

* fishing;
* walking and hiking;
* cycling;
* birdwatching;
* relaxing beside the water.

There are several places nearby where you can rent a boat, canoe or bicycle. The visitor centre of De Alde Feanen National Park is also close by and provides information about the local landscape, walking and cycling routes, excursions and activities.

A valid fishing permit is required for fishing. This can be purchased online or through the guest services at the holiday park.

## Facilities at It Wiid Holiday Park

The holiday park offers a range of facilities, including children’s playgrounds, bicycle and boat rental, food and drink options and a small supermarket for everyday groceries.

The welcoming waterside village of Earnewâld is also nearby. Here you will find several restaurants, outdoor terraces and additional shopping and recreational facilities.

Guests who would like to explore more of Friesland and the north of the Netherlands can easily visit cities such as Leeuwarden and Groningen. A day trip to one of the Dutch Wadden Islands is also possible.
