âWe had a nice stay at General Stanton. Itâs a very cool old Inn with lots of character and was very clean. We checked in after hours so did not interact with any staff except over the phone but the remote check in process was still easy and we had no issues. Was a convenient and affordable stay for a concert in Matunuck.â

âThey did not refresh our towels. Maybe they are super eco friendly, but they removed dirty towels and didn't give us replacements. We had to keep asking for more towels our whole stay. I don't understand why they would not give us any new towels. This is the main reason for the 3 ratingâ

âIt borders the salt pond which is beautiful and tranquil. There are free kayaks to use on it. There is a nice outdoor shower. Rooms are small but worth it for the location. I went with my son and we were comfortable. but More than 2 in a room might be cramped unless you really like each other. âI enjoyed my stay. I love that it was walking distance to the beach, i didnt know they had there own private section a little path to walk through. Over all good stay bed comfortable, it was clean , bathroom decent, restaurant/food walking distance. I would revisit again.â
