The property is 4 houses from Great Pond Beach/walking path. The water is shallow, calm and warmer than the ocean, perfect for small children, paddle boarding, kayaking, and beach combing. This beach is primarily used by residents of the street, very quiet, a great spot to avoid the crowds. The walking path along the pond's perimeter is very scenic and a quick 1/2 mile walk to the ocean.
The home is located on a quiet dead end street providing a safe area for children to ride bikes. It is in close proximity to shopping conveniences such as a grocery store and liquor store, within less than a mile walk or drive. Main street Falmouth's quaint shops and variety of excellent restaurants and pubs are 2 miles from the property. Looking to explore? Be sure to check out the quaint village of Woods Hole with the science aquarium and seaside restaurants. Mashpee Commons (10 minute drive) is the spot for shopping and restaurants. For a relaxing day excursion, head out to Marthaâs Vineyard via the ferry terminal located just a mile away. Enjoy the Shining Sea Bike Trail on a beautiful ride to Woods Hole.
