“Elsa's is a wonderful place to stay if you are traveling to Prospect Harbor. It is a quaint building with beautiful rooms. But what made our stay spectacular was Gail. She is absolutely amazing. She gave us lots of great ideas about sites to see during our visit. She makes delicious breakfasts. And she's just so much fun to talk to. We wanted to bring her home with us! We will definitely come back for another stay as soon as possible.”

“Our stay at the Cleftstone was wonderful. This inn made us feel like we stepped back in time when we arrived. The architecture was so cute inside and out. The staff was very kind and accommodating- though we didn’t take full advantage of that or the amenities because we were mostly gone out exploring in Bar Harbor. The only complaint we have was the WiFi is spotty at best in room 3. I know we were in Maine to escape the normal day to day and our phones but the WiFi didn’t even support the smart...

“A romantic place for a romantic vacation. Extremely service minded staff, nothing was impossible, or even questioned. Me and my girlfriend spent a weekend there and no doubt will we come back.”

“The location was perfect to be able to walk around downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and kept up. My only complaint would be that the live music was just a lady, nice but, doing karaoke with a bad speaker system. We were looking forward to some drinks and relaxing with maybe some accoustic or light band. Super disappointed in the karaoke and talked to other guest the next morning that felt the same. Oh the breakfast was delicious.”

“Our hosts - Matt and Kristi -were awesome. Very friendly, helpful with advice regarding Bar Harbor and Acadia. The Inn is beautiful -with an awesome view and easy access to downtown Bar Harbor - and very close to Acadia National Park. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend the Saltair Inn to all travelers.”
