The cabin was clean and had all the necessary items. It was in a good location and close to the different hikes and events we wanted to do. We had a great time at this cabin - stayed for 3 nights, 4 days.

Great Location

Our family enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin with great mountain views. The proximity to Hunter Mountain skiing can’t be beat. We have experience with wood stoves and stayed toasty all weekend with the provided firewood. We’d love to return.

Great Stay in the Catskills

We had a perfect week long stay at the mountain view cabin. The interior of the cabin is exactly how it is described and shown in the pictures. We loved the furnishings, the comfort of watching tv on the sofa with the fire going, and the kitchen was well stocked to do a lot of cooking with goods purchased from the local farms and farmers markets. The views from the back deck are stunning. The location is excellent with many good restaurants, hikes, and other activities to do in the area. Nate, the owner, was very responsive to anything we needed. Tammy, the caretaker was also super helpful and she has a farm less than 1/4 mile away where you can buy fresh eggs, tomatoes, and bacon from her. If you stay, definitely go visit Scribner Hollow Farms, JJF Angus Beef Farm, and Maple (syrup) Glen Farm which are all within 5 minutes of the house, to support the local farmers. We look forward to coming back.

Great property, wonderful hosts!

We stayed at this property in June-July with our family (two daughters 10 and 12). We found the property very well equipped to our needs and to be a great location close to all the attractions that the Hunter-Windham area has to offer. The hosts were extremely responsive and we had a great time! Highly recommend this property - we are definitely coming back!

Beautiful view!

This cabin makes for a lovely weekend getaway. The highlight is definitely the view of the mountains from the backyard. I recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, low key weekend away in nature!

Great family house

The house was awesome! Super comfortable and very well equipped. It is great for families with children. Our kids were very happy with all the toys and games available. Host was super on top of things. Will come back!

Overall pretty good

The property has some great aspects, and communication with the owner was wonderful. Some small touches could really make this an outstanding place, but the house needs better upkeep. The natural light inside was wonderful and the back yard view of the mountain was serene, also the beds and couch were very comfortable. The yard needs to be mowed and the house and front deck updated. There were cracks in tile of the fireplace/stove ,light out in one of the bathrooms and not enough soap in the bathroom.

Great family stay

We came with young teens for a ski weekend and loved staying here. The games and a big TV provided nice downtime for all. Comfortable and updated house. Tammy the caretaker is nearby and helped us get in. Nate and Ingrid were communicative hosts. Definitely take their suggestion to ask heat to be turned up before you arrive. We hope to come back!
