The room was small but not cramped and was furnished in keeping with the hotels decor. There was a birthday party taking place in the evening but the staff were quietly efficient and spent an appropriate time to check us in. If there is a downside it has to be the car park. âI loved the quirkyness of this hotel. The only drawback was the service of the staff. They didn't seem overly happy working there or at all in the hospitality business... The village is great with a fantastic gastro pub called the Lamb.â

âWhat a fantastic place to stay, the room was immaculate and well appointed. The staff / host were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Arundel Castle is probably the best castle we've visited, and there are lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes in the town. What a fab weekend away!â
