“Enjoyed the various areas for dining and the cleanliness of the entire environment. There is no quick coffee shop where you can pick up a little lighter beverage or snack. Also it’s more of a resort so shopping is a taxi or car away. Otherwise it’s a lovely spot and answered all my needs. ”

“Our room was a suite (with balcony), and it was the nicest suite I have ever stayed at besides Toledo (Spain) and the most prestigious hotel suite in San Francisco, CA. It was 2.5 blocks easy walk to the Harbor and the Empress where we had high tea reservations. The staff (immigrants from Philippines and Wales) were highly professional, helpful, efficient, and wonderful! “We loved the 70’s vibes atmosphere of the place. Everyone was helpful with suggestions of places to eat and see. Ruby was a restaurant in the office area and the food there was the best we’ve had for breakfast. The waffles are to die for. Make sure to get the whipped cream. It was quiet at night and we felt safe. They have bikes that you can use for biking downtown. Rooms were clean and we had a mini fridge and a microwave. We highly recommend Hotel Zed as a great place to stay”
