[ WELCOME ]
Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, traveling with dogs, celebrating a special occasion, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, this lakefront getaway is the perfect spot. Located on nearly an acre and just 50 feet from a serene freshwater lake, our home is built for fun, relaxation, and making lasting memories.

[ INSIDE ]
The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, ideal for group meals and entertaining. A newly finished basement features a ping pong table, arcade games (Ms. Pac-Man, basketball), foosball, karaoke, TV, board games, and a poker table. The ground-floor laundry room includes ski/snowboard racks and direct access from the driveway. Enjoy blazing-fast Wi-Fi, TVs with Apple TV and/or Chromecast (no cable), central heat & A/C, cozy new beds, and updated bathrooms to ensure a relaxing, and comfortable stay.

[ OUTSIDE ]
Unwind in our 6-person hot tub, roast marshmallows over the fire pit, or explore the lake with 3 provided kayaks (2 singles, 1 tandem). Dine al fresco with a propane grill, picnic table, and nearly 1,000 sq ft of outdoor patio space. Firewood, propane, and life vests (child and adult sizes) are provided. Fishing (catch & release) is allowed—just bring your own fishing gear.

[ GATED COMMUNITY ]
Located within the private gated community of Penn Estates in East Stroudsburg, you'll have FREE seasonal access to the following shared amenities: pools, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, and the open field and picnic areas.
*Check-in is after 4pm with 24 hr. gate access
*Pool access is limited to 10 guests and open Memorial Day–Labor Day weekends ONLY.

Overall it was a good stay. By the lake, in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by nature (loads of deer) and the home was cozy. We really enjoyed making large meals in the kitchen, using the hot tub and game night in the living room. Getting to the house was a little complicated as it's in a gated community and many people were also visiting, so the line to enter is fairly long. Just make sure to read the email from the host prior to your arrival. For the amount we paid, I think the home could've been cleaner. There were dirty towels and dirty cookware which wasn't ideal. The garage/basement area had a pool but it was full of outdoor equipment and it would've been amazing if it was cleaned out and filled. We would've loved that- especially as the listing clearly says 'private pool'- the other pool is a community pool which seems to get pretty busy. There were kayaks by the lake but you really wouldn't want to use them- they were in really bad shape and the edge of the lake didn't seem clean to get in and out of the water. There were more kayaking options in the garage. It was a shame to not kayak as we were most excited about this part of the listing. The outdoor area in general does not seem maintained. The listing makes it look more clean and accesible- however the hot tub was kept in good condition. Finally, the main floor has 3 rooms and the rooms in the basement were uncomfortable and apparently is was extremely cold.

Amazing location for writing retreat

Our research team spent 3 nights here and it was absolutely perfect. Enough space and the house had a great layout so people weren't on top of each other. The kitchen and living spaces were also large enough for our big group to convene together. It was also really nice to have the back deck and outdoor spaces for our breaks. Everything was super clean and easy to use. There was a little power outage on the 1st day but we were able to get in touch with Nick very quickly and he was so helpful throughout the stay. We look forward to coming back!

Great house!

House was perfect for a weekend getaway of 8 friends. The deck overlooking the lake is just lovely, living room is big enough for all, huge kitchen/dining space makes it a pleasure to cook together. Our only request would be to add a few more coffee cups. Special shout out to property manager Nick for being so attentive and helpful in all communication!

Great stay!

We recently stayed for a weekend with two families and this house was perfect! Nicely updated and the house layout was ideal for each family to have a "wing" to retreat to. Lots of activities for the kids between the game room, hot tub and areas to explore on the property. Mattresses are comfy and sheets are nice. Just a heads up, bath towels are provided but wash clothes and hand towels are not (at least not any we could find!). Great location for Camelback access. Responsive owner and clear communication including very reasonable check out instructions. Highly recommend!

Comfortable Lake House

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious house, set right on a beautiful small lake. Nick was responsive to our questions. Rooms were clean and comfortable and there were plenty of fun things to do inside and outside.

Beautiful Lake home in quiet neighborhood

Large house right on a small lake in a gated community. Community offers tennis, pickleball, volleyball and basketball courts as well as 2 swimming pools and a small beach with lake swimming. House was well appointed with very comfy beds and so much space. Our family of 10 fit perfectly with room for more. Loved the outdoor space. So many restaurant and shopping options 15 minutes away.

Wonderful Getaway!

Rocky start, but great time overall

The property is beautiful, with all the comforts of home. We had a relaxing time, and the owner is genuinely helpful and wants you to enjoy your stay. We had a rocky start with getting into the community, as the gate guards are awful and rude, so be sure to confirm with the owner that your information is with the guards under the correct property address before you arrive!

Great lake house

Overall, the property was as described in the listing. There was plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. The kitchen was well supplied and had everything we needed. It rained for the whole time we were there so unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit or lake. Our only complaints were that the shower in the upstairs bathroom didn’t drain well so there was standing water up to your ankles and the basement rooms were a bit musty smelling.

Enjoyed the game room and lake

Kid enjoyed time on hammocks, paddling the kayaks, and playing foozeball. Also enjoyed the Penn Estates game room. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The house is on a small pond, not good for swimming but good for kayaking. There is a lake for swimming a short drive or walk away. The house is pleasent and clean but could use some maintence - for example, the outdoor picnic table has a rotten spot, and the lights in the living room flickered, indicating a possible electrical issue.

Girls Weekend in East Stroudsburg

We had a great stay at Nick's property. Everything was as advertised, with even more space than we imagined. Nick was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the stays with a few questions about the property, and even brought extra paper products to us during our stay. Would highly recommend!

Great location and space for our group with responsive owner

Nick was excellent as an owner and communicated very well throughout the entire process. The space suited our holiday gathering with three families, including 5 teenage boys. Some glitches took away from the experience like the hot tub not fully heating (they quickly tried to fix), need for a few more kitchen items for larger dinners, and I recommend it should be mentioned the fireplace inside, seen in the photos, doesn't work (may just be a safety concern which I respect, but should be mentioned). Still, Nick deserves 5 stars for his responsiveness and we would stay here again.
