Fint hotell i bra läge i Eastbourne
Läget var fantastiskt fint nära stranden och inte långt från centrum. Hotellet hade en fin pool. Det fanns flera pubar och restauranger i närheten. Hotellpersonalen var mycket hjälpsam och vänlig. Frukosten var mycket god men enkel.

Några dagars arbetsvistelse vid kusten- Hotellområde vid blåsig strand ( november). Servicen var säkert välvillig men ibland lite osäker och valhänt.Dålig wi-fi på rummet. Ofta avbrott.

For beachlovers!
Great location by the beach. Great room but quite busy traffic disturbing at night. Friendly staff. One of our rooms stank of cigarette smoke though it was supposed to be smoke free.

Väldigt trevligt hotell och vänlig personal. Vi bodde i ett lite lyxigare rum med bubbelbadkar som var härligt att ha på vintern. Rummet var rymligt och fräscht och vi fick t.o.m små presenter. Väldigt skönt med inomhuspool också. Helt ok, delvis varm frukost. Fin havsutsikt från rummet! Vi bor gärna här igen!

Bo bra i Eastbourne
Bra läge vid strandpromenaden i Eastbourne. Stort familjerum med gott om plats för oss två vuxna och två stora barn (12 och 15) Fräsch och prisvärd frukostbuffé med något för alla. Trevlig och serviceminded personal. Rekommenderas!!

Vacker utsikt över havet
Vacker utsikt över havet om du får ett rum åt det hållet. Ovanligt rymligt rum och badrum. Det som drar ner betyget är en dåligt spolande toalett, vilket skulle vara mycket enerverande om vi hade varit två som bott i dubbelrummet.

Hotell med bra läge, men med usel personal
Hotellet har ett perfekt läge vid stranden och strandpromenaden. Men det kanske vore på sin plats att personalen gick en charmkurs, så att man kanske kunde få ett leende som bekräftelse att man ser sina gäster. Att åtminstone få beställa mat är väl inte ett alltför höga krav att ställa som hotellgäst så man slipper gå till annan resturang när fötterna värker efter en lång dags promenerande....?

Unfortunately there was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom and the extractor fan(no window) was clogged with fluff and dust!! Also the bed heads and lamps were very dusty,not nice!! Would not stay again and was disappointed as have recently stayed at another Best Western. The breakfast at the other hotel was also much superior so was disappointed with this as well!!

Room with a view
A seaside hotel with a sea view is just what we wanted. A large hotel with 70 odd rooms and just off the Eastbourne seafront. A nice pool and a large spacious dining room as well as a separate bar.

Traditional but in need of some TLC.
Staff were excellent, room was very good, plenty of room and clean, other than the windows. The communal areas were looking tired. Breakfast was very nice, evening meal was OK. Parking on the road outside, get a ticket from reception for £2 a day. Nice location but a fair walk to the main shopping centre. Although it needs some updating, it is part of its charm. Found a lovely pub close to the rear of the hotel called the marine, lovely atmosphere and superb food at reasonable prices.

Nice to have a swimming pool, though its shape, state of decor, water clarity, and ambience left a bit to be desired. Fundamentally, the hotel is tired. A comprehensive clean and redecoration would boost it enormously. Why don't the housekeeping staff do a basic check each day - one of the cups was dirty and there was a bulb missing from one of the lights. It's a good location. Some of the information on the website is a little unclear and lacking (eg it says there's no car park, but doesn't mention the availability of parking permits). The wifi signal in my room (152) was non-existent, so I had to use my phone as a hotspot.

Lovely location, friendly staff Needs a good clean
It is a lovely location, a large hotel with friendly staff. our room was tiny with a view over an alleyway, We had a fair bit of noise in the night from outside, but I guess that cant be helped. The room looked as though it had never been cleaned. the floor was filthy, thick with dust and had nail clippings on it. under the beds were like just horrific. the picture rail was thick with dust and cobwebs everywhere.Bead sheets were ripped and had hair on them. Bathroom was 'ok' shower was weak at best. the room was serviced daily, however beds were not made, just the sheet simply launched at the bed.

The seafront location was appealing. Parking was free on the roads to the rear. The staff were so polite and curteous and there was a swimming pool! Breakfast was also yummy. Only down sides (hence not a 5 star review) is that the pool area and changing rooms were quite dirty and worn. Also sheets had a stain. Otherwise a really lovely stay.

We’d expected one large room but instead found ourselves in a 2 bedroom flat! Clean, new bathrooms and area was wonderful. Ate in the restaurant twice and staff were lovely and attentive and food was great. Would definitely return.

Good location, had a room with a view but it was very noisy (motorcycles sounded like they were racing out front) and we closed windows and it was like they were still open, no air conditioning, curtain on bathroom window was see through, bed and pillow were hard as a rock, all three of us noticed and didn’t sleep well, staff at breakfast made it feel like we were bothering them when asking for sugar packets etc as there were none at our table.

Old hotel - not for a summer visit
The hotel is quite dated and in need of renovation. There is no A/C so on a summer night you have to leave windows open or the room is unbearably stuufy and damp and the street noise is quite bad. Meals in the restaurant are so-so and very expensive considering. The staff however, were excellent.
