Stort dubbelrum men trist inrett, men ok. Fick ett rum med tråkig utsikt mot baksidan. Mycket trevlig personal. Stor lobby med bar där man kan koppla av. Nära att gå till "centrum". Wifi fungerade även på rummet.

Utmärkt läge
Hotellet är litet och beläget i ett äldre hus på strandpromenaden. Insidan är uppfräschad men inte lyxig. Personalen var trevlig, hjälpsam och vänlig. Rummet vi hade vette mot en bakgård och utsikten var ganska tråkig men direkt utanför entren på hotellet finns stranden samt inom ett kort avstånd ett antal caféer och restauranger. En helt okej frukost serverades med alla valmöjligheter man kan förvänta sig i England.

The first room the shower head fell off it’s mounting and the mounting was broken so moved to another room and sat on the chair and it collapsed on me.

Another great stay at the Oban, Eastbourne
I have stayed here a few times and have always been treated very well. Judan at Reception is very kind and provides great guest service and housekeeping is very good too. The location is fantastic, with the beach across the road, restaurants and town centre within easy walking distance. I will definitely be back!

Thank you for a great stay in Eastbourne.
I really like this hotel. Not having restaurant or bar facilities doesn’t bother me as it’s location on the sea front within walking distance of the town centre more than makes up for this. Also, I have always had exceptional service from the staff and the rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. It is great value for money too.

When I arrived in my room the Cleanliness could have been better. Overall amenities were good, bed comfortable and staff very welcoming.

Hi, entry information was poor, not able to call hotel direct , mailbox always full, OYO help desk not clear until I spoke to the third person. . member of staff there to hand over key, bar under maintenance, property communal areas tired, room was clean and adequate, bathroom fan very noisy and connection not to legislation.

I would not recommend this hotel ! I didn’t realise that it had changed ownership since my last stay 4 yrs ago. I wish just that I had read the reviews !! The room was grim and unhygienic ie the cleanliness of the hand basin, shower cubicle and toilet areas. A curtain was hanging off the rail and one of the bedside lights wasn’t working and the shower head wasn’t properly attached. Apart from the room other aspects of the hotel were poor.As there no lift working, I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs which required a lot of effort as I am over 70.There was no contact with any staff apart from a brief checkin,when I managed to persuade the young man to carry my suitcase up to the 3rd floor.I couldn’t make contact by phone on any number to arrange for my luggage to reach the ground floor which caused me some difficulty.Also, the bar seemed permanently closed and there was no access to WiFi during my stay 16-18/8/23. I have photos of the areas of concern as evidence of a very poorly run establishment.
