The only thing we were not too happy was the free drink with the meal which was house wine as we had RED and WHITE which were not very good as we did express that to the staff there? Also There were no BRANDY in the evening on Saturday around 9pm?â
âA fabulous stay in this lovely country inn in a quiet village on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Perfectly located for exploring the Suffolk coast and countryside and the Norfolk Broads. A wonderful welcome from Mark and his team. Nothing was too much trouble and the lovely breakfasts set you up for the day. Great sized comfortable en-suite room. The pub is at the heart of the village community and is excellent value for money.â
âSingle room for 1 night, a bit cosy but the price was unbeatable. Quiet, clean, comfy bed, good shower amenities, easy parking, polite staff, good wifi.
Only improvement I can suggest is to put a darker curtain as quite a bit of light goes through during summer.â
âWe stayed for two nights in August B&B as part of a mini break to the East of England. All staff were welcoming and helpful. The room had a king size bed and the bathroom was large and adequately supplied. Breakfast was a good choice of pastries and hot buffet...dining at 8.15am meant we had no problem with queues or choice of food. The only thing that could have been better was the lack of air conditioning, as our room was very warm on both nights of our stay although a fan was provided...
âA calm but rather big hotel 6 km out of Norwich. Very helpful staff but with an accent you just can't understand as a foreigner. But no problem with that. Everything is at place and no need to have long conversations. :-)
Nice full breakfast included and I had a beer and a goat cheese tartelette in the evening which tasted rather nice.â

Don't get me wrong, the location, and Caistor Hall itself are both great, but the service we received made this an exceptional experience.
We felt right at home, it's posh but without airs & graces, perfect.
Michelle was just lovely, so friendly and helpful, knew the property, it's history, and spoke very highly of the owners (important that the leadership of a place like Caistor Hall is right).
