The location is great, across from access to Torch Lake, across from the Torch Lake Cafe, next to a gas station, a market, a post office, and trails to Lake MI. It is extremely convenient and has all the amenities you need. There is noise since it’s near so many conveniences, so if you are sensitive to that it is something to be considered. We are not sensitive to noise, do it was fine. There are blackout shades - a nice touch!

NEVER EVER RENT THIS PLACE!!! HORRIBLE HOST HORRIBLE COTTAGE , complete lie is what add is water smells sooo bad can't brush teeth or shower place was dirty beds were horrible fire pit was over flowing with yard waste your literally on the corner of a major highway traffic so load BBQ grill is unusable bedroom doors dont latch front door didn't latch electric wireing exposed. BEWARE!!!!! WE LEFT SPENT ONE NIGHT BECAUSE IT WAS LATE BIT GOT UP AND MOVED TO DIFFERENT HOTEL. Hostile did nothing Vrbo gave us half our money back host would not do anything . Bad business practices. Stay away!!!!

Perfect location

We enjoyed our stay!! It was close to all the places we wanted to explore! Cute place and had everything we needed! Clean and relaxing! Wish we could have stayed longer! Cafe across the street was so fun both for breakfast and dinner and drinks!

Easy check in/check out process. Nice location, easy to visit Traverse City and plenty of wineries around that area. My husband and I had a great time.

Cottage Camping. Our grandchildren wanted us to go camping so they went camping across the street

Our Son and his family went camping across the street from our cottage at Barnes park camp grounds. Great family trip. Our cottage was great! Definitely my kind of camping. Very nice cottage. Would stay again and recommend it to friends and others.

Great location close to Torch Lake and Charlevoix. The cottage had everything we needed although we didn’t spend much time there because we were mostly out and about. We had a little trouble with the keypad but the host was very responsive. We would stay again if we want to be close to torch lake but it was a little pricey compared to other places we have stayed up north.

Amazing Host! I loved everything about my trip the lakes were close. The cafe across the street is amazing. Live entertainment and really good food. Fresh food options around. I will be back. Host were great at responding and very nice.

What we were looking for!

Very clean up to date house. We were looking for a home base the explore the area. Lots of nice beaches and parks near by. Property sets a little ways off the intersection of 2 main roads. Shut the blinds and you wouldn't know it. It's a good place to stay to explore the Lake Michigan area. Very friendly and responsive host!

Comfortable beds, would not consider “family friendly” if you have very young children. No kid dishes as listed and garbages did not have lids. Overall nice place just didn’t fit our family’s needs

Eastport Rental in a great location

Excellent location and very clean property. Comfortable stay. Nice access to Lake Michigan. I believe it’s a bit more of a walk to Torch Lake We were surprised to find basic cooking ingredients missing however - such as olive oil and spices other than salt and pepper. So recommend folks visit a store for these basics. Also did not find hair dryer there so recommend making sure travelers bring one.

Great Location, Clean, Comfortable

The location is extremely convenient to so many things! It is walking distance to hikes, a restaurant, a store, and 2 lakes (lake MI & Torch lake). The place was clean, with all amenities and window air conditioning units in the bedrooms. There are blackout window shades which are wonderful for the long summer days in Northern MI. There was a cute back area with a grill, fire pit, and some chairs (we didn’t use either, but it was nice that they were there).
