Comes with everything you could want

The home is beautiful and the host provides all the things that make the stay wonderful - board games, puzzles, books, rafts, ping pong, pool, cornhole, and shampoo and cooking supplies and beach towels and chairs and a pool! In other words, the house is extremely well stocked and beautiful.

Delightful

We had an absolutely lovely time at this property. Three families enjoyed fall break week at the house. The home is beautiful, well-appointed, and spacious. We rented a boat from the nearby marina and enjoyed the fire pit and large yard. Unfortunately the pool heater was broken so it was a big cold for swims, but otherwise we had a great time. Highly recommend this property and would definitely book it again.

Great Thanksgiving

This was a perfect place to have family at Thanksgiving. We had 10 people ages 23-79 years old. Plenty to do outside and inside, the game room, putting green, and pool table all had lots of use. The kitchen was great for preparing Thanksgiving dinner. We had everything we needed. A great time was had by all.

10 For Certain

We were very pleased with the house. We have stayed in many rentals over the years. The Blue Heron is the best by far. Loved the cleanness and privacy. I expected it to be just an ok house.. nothing special The pictures do not do justice to the house! Loved the layout of the house and all the extras. If we are in the area again we definitely would rent again. Thanks for sharing your house!

Great get-away

The property was amazing. On the second night the dishwasher broke and the property management team had it fixed by lunchtime the next day - truly excellent customer support. Everything was perfect. only issue was that the listing from about a year ago when we booked wasn't as clear as I expected on their being no full bedrooms on the first floor, but the current listing is very descriptive for what the house is. This was a great rental on a great lake.

Gorgeous home in a perfect cove!

Like previous guests of this wonderful home we have only superlatives to describe how nice of a place it is - especially for a group of adults (in our case all family). We particularly enjoyed the pool, covered outdoor seating area with ceiling fans and a TV perfect for watching World Cup games, etc.The kitchen is well stocked and has plenty of space for prepping, mixing and cooking with a crowd. Our only advice is if you bring or rent a boat, the cove is quite shallow so be mindful of the dredged lane marked by stakes to travel in/out of the dock from the deeper parts of the lake. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Beautiful home!

The layout of the house was perfect for us. Our adult children are excellent cooks so the kitchen was perfect.however the oven didn’t quite reach temperature & boiling water on the stove took a very long time. We enjoyed the pool & loved the shade that the patio provided while watching Wimbledon. I do wish there were more king beds or twin beds. The queens aren’t very practical. However we truly enjoyed our stay.

Great stay!

Eight of us including four children had a great day! The house has tons of space, an amazing supply of cooking equipment as well as an outdoor grill set up with a outdoor fridge. The pool was perfect and has a shallow area for the little kids who aren't great swimmers yet. We rented a boat and they delivered it right to our dock. The house manager was very quick when we communicated any small issues that arose. We can't wait to come back!

Lake-life recharge

Lake Oconee is a beautiful part of Georgia and this home does justice to the location. Our August trip was the 4th visit in the past 5 years - 1st say in this home. Debbie's property has provided the best stay when compared to the other properties we have visited in the past. The home is tucked away in a quiet lane yet close to most amenities which makes it perfect to just "check-out" for a couple of days. The service staff (landscapers, pool, maintenance) were very friendly, courteous and respected our privacy. We connected with Debbie on a small maintenance matter and it was attended to same day within a couple of hours. We hope to visit again soon.

Memorial Day Week

We had 11 in our group. For over 20 years we vacationed either at Hilton Head or Rosemary Beach. This was our first trip to Lake Oconee. The house was perfect for our group, from morning coffee by a propane fire pit to renting kayaks, jet skis, etc., pool time and evening at the other wood fire pit. Great Lake view. Many games, cornhole, bocci ball, putting green kept our group busy. Only 10 minutes from grocery store and restaurants. Debbie Miller was a pro and great to work with. She was very responsive to any questions we had.

Awesome family house!

We loved the house so much - great amount of space and it felt comfortable, even though we had a large family group. The 2 fridges, kitchen and grille were awesome. The boat company the owners suggested even delivered our boat rental right to the dock, fantastic and just SO EASY! A true vacation. It was a quiet little nook on the lake, easy to get around and a ton of fun, we will 100% rent this house again!! The only (tiny) thing that we suggest is make sure to bring blackout curtains, there are no blinds (and small sheer curtains) on the bedroom windows and that made it hard for the little kids to go to bed. Other than that - wonderful experience!!

The Perfect Scene

Our stay at Blue Heron was exactly what our two families needed. The house is brand new with lots of space for two families. The layout couldn't be better to allow for sharing space during the day but having some privacy at night with two separate sleeping areas. Lots of windows make the house light and bright, and beckon you outside to the amazing backyard. The scene out back is simply serene with plenty of space to play, sit on the patio to enjoy the weather and views, or swim in the pool. The location is great as it's a short drive to get food or visit the Ritz. The manager was super friendly, helpful and available to answer any questions. Within 30 minutes of leaving we were all sad and wanted to turn back.
