âThe room is immaculate, there are nice touches like ground coffee and a french press, first time I have had this even in ÂŁ500+ a night rooms. There is plenty of free parking on the street outside.
The only thing to be mindful of is that there is a big step both into the room and the bathroom for those with reduced mobility like myself - this is in addition to the 6 steps i was aware of. There is no aircon or fan so we opened the bedroom and bathroom windows and it was fine. Old school air...

âThis is a lovely hotel with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff who seemed to take a personal interest in all their guests. It was a pleasure to stay there and our room was beautifully comfortable and spacious. The only drawback was the long climb from the town centre if walking! â
âGot a wonderful meal at the evening. Although the breakfast hours was far off from normal business hours why I had to leave without having any. Better suited for holiday travellers I believe.

"The location was great and the staff tried hard, however, everything else was only just okay. The door lock system does not work well with you having to replace the keys frequently. Also, all the public areas are too small. The worst was getting into the breakfast room there were queues and some days impossible to get in."
