Loft in a barn with a garden

Experience the tranquility of the Upper Palatinate in our light-filled barn loft. Lovingly renovated, with high ceilings and exposed beams, it offers a picturesque view of the countryside. Here, the rooster greets you in the morning, while foxes and hares say good night to one another. Just 50 minutes from Nuremberg and Regensburg—ideal for climbers, mountain bikers, and canoeists.

Our 120-square-meter accommodation offers plenty of space to unwind. The bright kitchen-dining area is the heart of the home, equipped with a cozy Swedish stove and an extendable dining table that invites you to enjoy convivial evenings. Two stylishly furnished bedrooms, one with a box-spring bed (180x200 cm), offer peace and privacy, while the functional furnishings promise thoughtful comfort in an appealing atmosphere.
A fifth guest can sleep on the pull-out couch in the living room.

The barn loft is located next to the separate main house on a 4,000-square-meter property. We, as your hosts, live in the main house and are available to assist you with advice and support as needed.
The property features a large garden with fruit trees, lush vegetation, chickens, and the family’s pets: cats and two dogs. There is a fenced-in area reserved exclusively for guests.
Access information will be provided well in advance of your arrival. There is free parking in the courtyard and several spots along the street.

Just outside the property, you have direct access to hiking and biking trails through the woods and countryside. A ten-minute walk offers a beautiful view of Hahnbach, Sulzbach-Rosenberg, and even Amberg.
For traditional Bavarian dishes, the “Goldener Greif” restaurant in Edelsfeld is just 5 minutes away. In addition, the local butcher shop offers regional meat and sausage specialties, and Café “Heldrich” serves fresh bakery items daily.
In Weißenberg itself, you’ll find the Hutzelhof, an organic farm with a direct-to-consumer market, which supplies you with fresh organic fruits and vegetables.
