Vacker mycket väl belägen lägenhet på Royal Mile. 2 stora sovrum och rymligt vardagsrum / kök med utsikt över Skottlands mest historiska gata.

Denna imponerande lägenhet på första våningen är en perfekt bas för att utforska denna vackra stad Edinburgh, vare sig det är för affärer eller för nöje. Denna underbara lägenhet ligger inom gångavstånd till alla Edinburghs attraktioner, inklusive Edinburgh Castle och Holyrood House. Det är också en 10-15 minuters promenad till tåg / spårvagn / busstation.

Lägenheten har en lounge / kök med fönster med utsikt över Edinburghs mest historiska gata - The Royal Mile.
Ett stort, fullt funktionellt kök med alla apparater nås från vardagsrummet.
Det stora sovrummet med dubbelsäng har inbyggda spegelgarderober. Det andra sovrummet har också en dubbelsäng och speglade garderober. Alla sovrum är på baksidan av lägenheten där det inte finns något gatorbuller.

Wow this place has it all. Great kitchen set up if you want to cook, comfortable beds and the best location. We would stay here again and hope too on next return trip. Host easy to communicate with and instructions for check in were clear and easy.

The location and comfort of the apartment were stellar! We were right in the middle of the Royal Mile, within an easy walk to all the sites in that area. Bookers should be aware that this apartment is up two steep flights of narrow spiral stairs from ground level.

Great location on the royal mile.

The apartment had all that we could need. The location was perfect! The kids could watch the street performers from the windows! It was a bit loud from the streets but overall was not an issue.

The property was pretty much perfect! The stairs up to the flat were not so easy with 50lb suit cases, which was totally our fault for over packing. Everything you could need was there for cooking. The space was clean and simple. The shower was great, just push a button to turn on and the temp was perfect. It would get a bit warm in there but it was mid July. Just open the windows and in 10 minutes it was nice and cool. You are just steps from all the life of Edinburgh. I hope to rent this property again in the future.

The apartment is quite nice (as pictured), very clean and comfortable. Location on Royal Mile is excellent - only drawback is the noise (complete with bagpipes). Fortunately, bedrooms are at the back, away from the street. Narrow, winding stairs up to the apartment could be an issue for elderly or very young, but no problem otherwise. A couple of fans would be nice for more comfortable sleep on warm summer nights. Overall, an excellent apartment, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only negative would be a two flight walk up a tight spiral stair. Might be tough for some older or disabled individuals. Otherwise perfect. Right on the Royal Mile. Clean and comfortable.

Excellent stay

Perfect location in the center of the Royal Mile, half way between the castle and the palace. Very nice flat with great appliances and well stocked. Having the washer and dryer for clothes was a big plus. It was unusually hot during our stay, but there were fans available for use in both bedrooms. The back room faces a quiet private courtyard, the middle room faces an alley and pub which was noisy one night. The flat stays surprisingly quiet despite being on the Royal Mile. There is one flight of stairs. It’s an old spiral staircase, but was not a problem for us. After you collect the keys, turn 180 degrees and enter through the small metal gate, do not enter through the large metal gate as we did. Overall, a wonderful place, and I hope to stay here again. Thank you!

Great Apartment

Great place with everything you need. Location is good in that it's close to everything, but can be loud. One night we had people partying in the alley behind the until from 2-4 a.m. Was very loud. THen a couple fought for a while yelling at each other until the fellow gave up and stormed off because "he just couldn't deal with her right now." Sounded like they were in my room. NOt a great night's sleep. THat's just part of staying right on the Royal Mile I suppose.

Perfectly Located

If you want to be at the hub of everything Edinburgh has to offer, choose this flat. The bedrooms are on the courtyard, so even though the living area faces one of the busiest streets in the city, you can sleep quietly. The kitchen is well stocked, too.

Great Central Location

We enjoyed the centrality of the apartment - very easy to walk out the front door and explore the Old Town! The beds were comfortable and check in was very straightforward. We were traveling with our 12 month infant and Shahid kindly had a travel cot and high chair in the apartment. Both were clean and in very good shape, there was also a comfortable mattress provided for the cot. We enjoyed watching the activity on the Royal Mile from the living area in the evenings after our little one was asleep, but found the bedrooms at the rear of the apartment quiet and dark. Thanks for a fun, comfortable stay!

Nice property, located in heart of Royal Mile

This is a nice, clean property located right in the heart of Royal Mile. We stayed there during the Fringe and it was really quite the experience being in the thick of everything. During the day it was loud from the street performers, but even the Fringe calms down at night, and the back bedrooms are quiet (though we did have trouble twice with noise from people in the alley in the early morning hours). The apartment is on the smaller side; we were a family of 4 and it was a bit cramped with the 1 bathroom. It is up one steep curving flight of stairs, but we didn't have trouble getting our luggage up and down. The owner was very responsive and went above and beyond to help me accept delivery of a package that came during our trip.

Perfect Location

Smooth check in process, perfect location, well stocked kitchen. We loved our stay here. The windows open right on to royal Mile nice to sit and sip coffee and watch the hustle and bustle while baby catches on nap. As mentioned in other reviews circular stairway definitely makes it a bit of challenge to haul the baggage up or down but that's true for most places on royal Mile and we were okay with it since everything else was perfect for us. The WiFi was spotty the first 2 days and could not connect to it from bedroom so if you are solely relying on WiFi you need to always be in living room.

The owner is very friendly and responsive. The unit had a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and most of all the shower had endless hot water. The location was perfect; however, the stairs are not easy, (I am 78) but that is what is to be expected for that part of the city. Overall, the apartment was clean and coinvent and we were pleased.
