Trevlig personal, mysig enkel liten rum med en bekväm säng. Liggee rätt så centealt. Minus på boendet är att det är väldigt lyhört och att brandlarmet kan gå igång värdigt fort

Helt okej ställe för priset man betalde. Bra med ett gemensamt kök så man kan fixa sin egen frukost. Nära till busshållsplats dock inte så nära till centrum, ca 2 km och uppförsbacke. Sängen var något hård och hade önskat två täcken. Bra med förvaring och bra städat. Mycket trevlig personal.

Lyhört och dålig säng. Okej närhet till centrum.
Lyhört och extremt dålig säng. 15 min promenad in till city. Okej pris. Studenten som hyrs ut under sommaren. Som ett hostel fast med eget rum. Lakan, handdukar och "dubbeldusch" fanns på rummet. Möjlighet att låna hårfön. Kaffe och te i receptionen.

Man får vad man betalar för!
Jag var i Edinburgh över en helg och sov endast på Beaverbank Place då jag for omkring i staden om dagarna. Bekväma sängar, praktiskt med ett gemensamt kök etc. Saknade dock en sopkorg på rummet. Hittade inte heller något som reglerade temperaturen på rummet då det blev lite varmt om nätterna.

Billigt och bra nära centrum. Kanske inte det roligaste rummet att hänga på, men helt okej till att sova och fräscha upp sig.

Rummet litet. Säng o madrass fruktansvärt obekväm. Kände varenda fjäder/spiral och den hårda stålkanten runt om. Textil o stoppning ”fanns”inte!! Har blåmärken på baksida lår, efter suttit på sängkanten. Toa o dusch rent o fräscht. Lyhört! Kök o utrustning där, var bra. Hjälpsam personal. Lidl o Tesco med bra sortiment nära. Ok ställe förutom sovkomforten

Trångt för vuxna
Fräscha studentkorridorer. Men lyhört. Trångt på sk dubbelrum... Där man inte kunde gå jämsides mellan typ 120 säng och "bord"..., typ skrivbord med stol.,,funkar inte om man på något sätt ska vistas i rummet... Att sova på resårmadrass där du känner varje stålspiral gör inte saken bättre... Nix... Inte en gång till

I'm not happy.
It was a student dorm room with a bed, sheets and a single towl per person. The reservation information said nothing about a check in time so we had to wait 3 hours before the room was ready.

För-skräck-ligt!
Behöver inte säga mer än att detta var kasst. personalen oengagerad. Hotellet var inte uppmärkt. rummen små. toaletterna fungerade inte. Det var inte städat när vi fick rummet utan massa hår kvar i dusch och övriga badrummet. en fläkt som lät som om någon borrade. sängarna går inte sova i, golvet var bekvämare, jag lovar! Edinburgh är en underbar stad, förstör inte er vistelse genom å bo här!

OK for just sleeping after a day of sight seeing
Good stuff: Friendly staff, 24 hour reception desk, access to a clean shared kitchen with fridge, grocery store in the neighbourghood, bus stop not that far away, clean bathroom with towels included. Not so good stuff: Small room, bed too narrow for two people and also in need of replacing, no cleaning the room for the three days we stayed (which means no more toilet paper than what was there when we arrived, easy enough to ask for more but would have been nice if it was just dealt with by cleaning staff). Other comments: About a 20 min walk to center of town, accommodation feels like a student corridor not a hotel, surrounding area not very pretty.

1 Woche während des Fringe Festivals
Einfache, aber recht günstige Unterkunft in einem ruhigen Stadtteil von Edinburgh. Das das Zimmer klein und das Bett nur knapp 140cm breit ist, war uns vorab bewusst. Positiv: - Sehr guter Preis (während des Fringe Festival) - gute Lage (15~20 min zu Fuß zur Princess Street) - Je 5 Zimmer teilen eine kleine Küche mit allem notwendigen Geräten und Sitzgelegenheiten - die Dusche hatte einen guten, kraftvollen Wasserstrahl - Supermärkte (Lidl und Tesco) sowie eine tolles und super günstiges Frühstücks-Café (Crumbs) um die Ecke. Negativ: - die Matratze echt durchgelegen - unterm Bett war viel Staub (Klappe davor) - der Wasserhahn im Bad hat kaum Wasser gegeben (recht dünnes Rinnsal) - Lüftung im Bad hat kaum funktioniert (wie Sauna) - Wände brauchen neuen Anstrich (viele Abschürfungen/Farbspritzer) - Koffer Aufbewahrung nur bei Anreise (wir mussten den Koffer bei Abreise behalten und mehrere Stunden beim Standbesuch mitnehmen: NO GO, wenn es anders auf der Website steht!)

Overall, the experience was pleasant. The bed comfortably accommodated two people, although the pillows and mattress showed signs of wear. The location, a 30-minute uphill walk to the city center, felt a bit distant. To add, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

It was very dirty in the rooms and the kitchen. Hairs an crumbs on the floor, dirty dishes, weird spots on the wall, hard bed, very nasry smell in the hallways. It is not worth your money!! We payed 400 eu for 4 nights... Please spend your money somewhere else because this is just a waste.

Billig litt utenfor sentrum
Billig, men enkel standard. Litt langt å gå fra sentrum med bagasje, men grei bussforbindelse. Ingen søppelbøtte på rommet, men rent og enkelt.

The room was clean and well organised,really quiet,and close to supermarket (lidl and asda), AT 15min from the city Center with bus stop close by. There was a private kitchen for 5 rooms which was really handy. We had access to a laundry that was cheap and it was very useful. Only negative point: the absence of television in the room.

Edinburgh Weekend Trip
3 day stay to visit my daughter. Just needed a place to sleep at night. Basic student room. Spotlessly clean.Communal sitting area / kitchen with everything needed to self cater. No TV. Previous reviews mentioned poor insulation / noise but maybe I was just lucky as I had no issues. Parking on street outside permitted between 5.30 pm and 8.30 am. Would definitely stay again.(Assume only available outwith Uni term time.) Good Price for Edinburgh where >£200 per night is the norm.

Had a great stay, staff was lovely. Was a bit worried about the noise after reading some reviews but was lucky enough to have a quiet stay. There’s a kitchen for each 5 bedrooms or so which I never used and the bed was comfy. Wifi was amazing and I was working from there so it was perfect. There’s a lobby in the main reception building with foosball and a tv, which I found pretty cool. I stayed in the building across the street and the location is perfect. Many supermarkets and cafes within a 5 min walk. The bedroom could be a bit cleaner maybe but not too bad. I think mostly was due to wear and tear so maybe not even possible to clean any better. There’s no tv so ensure you take a book or something otherwise you’ll be bored. The only callouts: please put a bin in the bedroom or bathroom. Also the bathroom’s light works via sensor so don’t be a fool like me looking for a switcher that simply isn’t there! :) Overall it’s great value for money and will definitely stay there again!

The staff here are very friendly and helpful, like so so so friendly. If you are comfortable with this type of lodging and just appreciate it for what it is, this is one of the better experiences you will have.

This was student accommodations, so don't expect too much of it. There were two of us, so there was a bit of a space problem when keeping our luggage in the room. The sink water pressure was low. Otherwise, it was convenient for its location.

Very uncomfortable, hard bed!!
Very basic, simple accommodation. The bed was advertised as a double. It was not. I’d call it a large single, or a small double, but certainly not a standard double. It was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I did not get one good nights sleep whilst there. I complained to reception who said they’d add an extra duvet under bottom sheet. This never happened. The ensuite was very small. The shower cubicle was tiny, which made showering hard. The shower head didn’t fit on holder properly, which was also an issue. On a positive note, water was always hot, and very powerful. The room was quiet, apart from when neighbouring rooms got back, which is to be expected. Location was decent enough, with buses into the centre only a short walk away.
