Spotless apartment with view. Great for 2 couples since 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Didn’t like how all the doors close automatically. Would like to leave open for better airflow through apartment.

The location was spot on! Very walkable! The unit was clean and had everything you need for your stay. The bedroom doors are somewhat heavy. Would have been nice if door jams were available to keep the doors open. Standing size fan in the living area would have been nice. Move the air around. The tenants above and below were noisy. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice but where is it?
Check in: Puzzling and incorrect code provided. The location was difficult to find. We were expecting a hotel-like building front. The entrance is a single security gate with code. Then down an alley (aka close) to an elevator. We tried the access code given in the email and text. It didn't work. We arrived after the 5p office closing due to traveling. They only have landlines so WhatsApp did not work. Called the emergency after hour # from the Radisson hotel across the street. The person told me the access code was off by 1 digit from what they sent us. Finally got in after an hour of headache. The place: Excellent location right on the Royal Mile. Very nice, clean, spacious and had all the basic amenities needed. It was surprisingly quiet with windows closed. There is no A/C but do have fans. Felt very secure considering location. Access code needed for entry gate, elevator and apartment. Do note, the access code does expire at check-out time. Be sure to be out or you will need to walk down stairs with belongings. Note: no parkiing provided but Radisson across the street does have 24 hour parking for £30. One does not need to stay there.

The security for the apartment was excellent and location was central for everything. Comfortable modern apartment with everything you need for dinning in or out. We will definitely return.

Great location and there was an elevator. Luggage storage was available but not lockable. Unit included a washer/dryer but no instructions for an American. That would have been very helpful. Kitchen had coffee supplies and was a full kitchen. Bathrooms were spacious and the unit was very clean. We had a wonderful visit and the location was perfect.

We never got to check in because after a day of delays by the time we got to Edinburgh it was 9:00 p.m. The directions got us nowhere. A waiter from a local restaurant helped us find the building. We buzzed the ringer and kept telling the person who answered our name and he asked for our phone number to call us back. We ended going to another hotel because we were exhausted, frustrated and angry!!

I can see the beautiful scenery of castle in the apartment. But it is quite exhausting for walking up to 4th floor with heavy luggage. Overall, we like this apartment.

The apartment had a place for luggage storage if you got there before check in time. The unit had a full size kitchen and washer dryer. This helped our trip so that we could pack less. It was convenient to walk to restaurants, stores, and attractions. Bring good walking shoes

Excellent Location
This hotel is the perfect location for tourists who wish to explore Edinburgh’s old town & Royal Mile. There are many nice restaurants in the vicinity of this hotel. However, many of the popular restaurants need prior reservation and do not allow kids after 8pm. Nevertheless, Edinburgh is really nice & friendly place. We all love this place.

You cannot beat this location. Modern and clean. Excellent communication with management. We were very comfortable with the full kitchen and we especially appreciated the code entry system to get into the building and also into the apartment. I highly recommend this property is staying for a few days or even longer periods of time.

Lovely property, fantastic location, but tradeoff is noise. The owner of this property thought of everything and provided all that you need in tip top condition. Situated on the Royal Mile in walking distance of Holyrood Palace and much more, with restaurants, pubs and coffee shops galore, the property had keyless entrance and felt very secure. T he only drawback was construction noise and loud partying, both from adjoining properties.

This property is in the heart of Edinburgh. It is everything that it says it is! It is clean with 2 nice modern bathrooms. The space is beautifully decorated. There is a place to store luggage before and after check in time. I you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. We visited during Fringe Festival and there is a lot of street activity until the wee hours of the morning. I also need to learn how to work a european washer/dryer!! I could not get our clothes to dry and had to travel with wet laundry. Great place!! Would highly recommend and would stay there again.

The apartment was a great place to stay during our holiday. I think most of the cleaning concentrated on the high-visibility areas; if you looked closer, there was dirt, especially on the bathroom floors and shower stall walls. There could be better communication about accessing Bishop's Close and a specific apartment number. The email we received only had the floor, so we literally had to try all the doors the day we arrived. For non-UK clients, the washing machine was a challenge, and the owners should stipulate that the "dryer" doesn't really dry the clothes, and you should just cut to the chase and use the drying rack.

The flat is comfortable and well appointed. Overall the stay was comfortable. The only issue is that the garbage trucks are very noisy and stop right outside the window as early as 530am or 6am. The windows need to have much better soundproofing.

The only negative I have for the apartment was it was hot. We lowered the windows a little but not too much because I was afraid a bird would fly in. There was 1 fan available but I had to move it room to room depending where we were. Other than that everything was awesome, I would advise anyone to stay at Destiny
