Beautiful View and great location
Its not often that an apartment is even BETTER than the pictures but this one is. The view from the deck is fantastic. The location is right on both major bus lines (to old town and new town). There is a good local pub just down the street. We stayed for 3 weeks and had everything we needed to cook etc. Andrew checked us in and answered questions. If we come back to Edinburgh I would come back here.

Un apartamento muy agradable con unas vistas de ensueño.
Pasamos 5 noches y estuvimos muy cómodas, además porque teníamos un supermercado muy cercano y resultó muy adecuado. Fuimos caminando al centro histórico, aunque había transporte en la misma calle. ¡Una estancia genial!

Een super appartement met balkon met zitje. Voorzien van alle voorzieningen. Heel schoon. Eigen parkeerplek. Alles op loopafstand te bereiken. Annette de host van appartement is heel gemakkelijk te bereiken voor vragen en met goede tips en heel behulpzaam. We hebben genoten.

Great location, walkable to all the major attractions. Good variety of restaurants nearby. The apartment was really quiet and comfortable. A great place to return to after a full day of exploring the city. The host was super responsive to any question we had.

Top floor apartment outside of city center
Easy check in process. A little outside of city center. Elevator takes you to 4th floor, then 1 flight of stairs to the rental. Skylights opened up to let air in at night. View was beautiful.

Easy to get around apartment
We enjoyed our stay at this Edinburgh flat for its accessibility to many sights in the city. Uber or taxi anywhere of distance was really affordable, and then walking back was enjoyable. Close proximity to food, drink, groceries. The "2-bathroom" description in not correct, it's one. Annette confirmed the listing is incorrect on VRBO and not how they listed the apartment. The "2-bedroom" description is also a stretch, as it's one bedroom, and an entryway with a pullout bed. The bedroom does not have a king sized bed. These inaccuracies aside, the price was well worth the stay in the views and walkability alone. Would visit again... just maybe not with our 6 foot 3 son along.

Great digs, great landlord
Annette was most excellent - despite being under the weather she communicated quickly and crisply. As it was, somebody had lifted her coffee press - bad news for a coffee addict like myself, but when I contacted her she got one over to us as quickly as possible. The flat is lovely, very well equipped, and has a view like nearly no others in Edinburgh. Can't speak highly enough of Annette or her place.

Well decorated and comfy flat
Had a wonderful stay and were thankful that both beds were super comfortable. Figured out the bus pretty quickly. Grocery store was just down the road. Walkable to town but our feet got tired 😆 🤣. Would stay here again.

Nice apartment if you are a family
Advertised as a 2bath and only has 1and if you need to use during the night you will disturb the person in ĺsecond bedroom as it only has a c-through curtain. No light at entrance to apartment. Not suitable for 3female60yrs+.Ihad to sleep on lounge floor. Was told I would be met when I arrived that didnt happen. Access code for a key should of been earlier. I felt let down.

Hogmanay in Edinburgh
We had the BEST vacation in Scotland and a huge part of that was our personal flat minutes from the heart of the action. The flat was a great location to remove yourself from the very busy touristy area, but still feel close enough to the action. The property itself was so comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay there feel like home. Thank you!

Very well-equipped, comfortable, spacious apartment. Creative use of the foyer as a second bedroom, but my son was comfortable. Loved the little balcony with fantastic views of Edinburgh and Arthur's Seat. The hosts were lovely and responsive. Recommend it

Great Time in Edinburgh
We had a great time during our stay. The location of Annette's place is perfect for a visit to Edinburgh. The place is modern and very comfortable. It is also nice that there is a parking space since you do not need a car for getting around. It is an easy walk down to the tourist attractions. There is a nice fairly new pub across the street with a great vibe. There is also a splendid view looking out over the balcony. If we go back to Edinburgh, we would definitely try to stay at Annette's flat.

Perfection
With a stunning balcony view and relaxing environment I've never felt so comfortable and "at home" whilst being away, about 1.1 miles away from old town its a beautiful little spot away from the noise and busy city center streets but close enough you can easily walk to and from.

First trip to Scotland
This was my first ever trip to Scotland and I will certainly be back. Only two down sides to our stay, the apartment was great, very happy with that but it did only have one bathroom not two as stated but we got by. The second down side was it was a mini heat wave in Scotland and we could have done with some kind of fan or air conditioning. All in all I would definitely recommend this property

Vue incroyable sur Édimbourg

Come for the view, stay for the hosts
Strongly recommend this property owing to the amazing views of Edinburgh, the friendly hosts, good location, and easy conveniences. Our family of 3 stayed there (two adults and teenage son) and really enjoyed it. The host's husband greeted us and gave us a quick and humorous orientation. The neighborhood is undergoing gentrification so there are a few edgy bits but also some nice independent shops and restaurants. Plenty of picks for grocery shopping nearby. Tourist destinations were a quick and easy bus ride away. We used the app to purchase tickets - quick and easy. It's also walkable if you prefer. The king bed is very firm - we like that but know some prefer a softer bed. We cooked breakfast in each day and did a mix of restaurants and takeaways for dinner. Kitchen was stocked well for all our needs.

Fantastic stay in Edinburgh
We were lucky enough to to stay at this fabulous place in Edinburgh. It couldn’t have been nicer. It was one of only 2 rooms on the top floor and had a great view of the city and the sunset was spectacular. The place had everything you would need and even had a washer and dryer which was handy after being 2 weeks on the road. Great location as only a 30 minute walk to the city centre. There was also a brand new grocery store a block away and it had everything you would need. Then there was Annette. She was a sweety. She met us when we got there and gave us the lowdown on the apartment and everything else we needed to know about the area. There were a few times we needed stuff so we phoned or texted Annette and she got back to us very quickly. So if you are coming to Edinburgh sometime this is the place you want to be. Book early as it fills up fast. And if your lucky enough you will meet Annette who will make sure you have a great stay. Dean and Sue Tillsonburg Ontario Canada

A modern comfortable warm flat with everything we needed for a winter week. Some traffic noise from the bedroom but we are very unused to noise at night . Fabulous views from the balcony. Really good location for access with buses abd good for walking. Handy shops too.

Fantastisches Appartement mit großer Dachterrasse
Von der Straßenseite ist es nicht zu ahnen, aber hinter der Fassade in der unspektakulären Easter Road verbirgt sich im obersten Stockwerk (Lift) eine wahre Perle mit großer Dachterrasse und Fernblick. Moderne Einrichtung und schicke Einbauküche mit sehr vielen Ausstattungsgegenständen. Für zwei Personen optimal, Supermarkt (Lidl) nur 100m entfernt. Zu Fuß ca. 25 min bis ins Zentrum (Bahnhof). Bei der Haustechnik gibt es noch etwas Luft nach oben, z.B. waren einige Deckenstrahler kaputt oder nicht schaltbar, und der Netflix-Account war leider nicht aktivierbar, schade. Ich würde aber trotzdem nochmal buchen.

Fantastic Apartment - Highly Recommend
Perfectly situated, virtually half way between Princes Street and Leith. Apartment was amazing, clean and very quiet. You need to book this for the views from the balcony alone. Fantastic panoramic views across Edinburgh and Leith. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Beautiful flat!
We couldn’t have been happier! I was worried it would be small and hot being on the top floor but it was very spacious for the 3 of us and, although we were told it was the hottest day so far this year, it was perfectly comfortable with the breeze coming in from the balcony doors and windows. The interior was so tastefully decorated and seemed brand new. The combo washer/dryer worked great and was a big plus. The wall of windows opening to a good sized balcony was our favorite part. There are beautiful sunsets to be seen from the balcony. In addition, the property owner was wonderful. She answered all my messages very quickly and was there to meet us and explain everything as soon as we arrived. As for the location, it is on a bus line with stops very close to the building so getting around the city is a breeze. We like to walk and found getting to the palace, the Royal Mile, Edinburgh castle and the train station were only 15-30 minutes of easy walking away. There is a Lidl grocery store just a block or so away and many smaller markets on the street. There is a Sainsbury, which is much larger, about 15 minutes walking distance (on low-traffic streets). If you like to hike, Arthur’s Seat in Holyrood Park just behind the palace was a lovey hike with amazing views. We have had 6 different vacation flats on our 2 month trip and this one was by far the nicest. I highly recommend it and would not hesitate to book here again.
