Excellent staff in the breakfast room!
Excellent staff in the restaurant!! The breakfast staff was efficient, observant and very attentative! Our room was clean, but the corridor was worn and carpet not fresh and full of stains. Checking in took a lot of time... The hotel was perfectly situated for our needs!

Mötte förväntningarna
Väldigt hårda kuddar, så vi bad om mjukare men skillnaden var minimal. Man blev dock lite van efterhand. Lite små saker som kändes slitna, men inget som påverkade upplevelsen. Vi vet ej hur frukosten var då vi åt det ute. Snabb service i reception, hjälpte gärna till men det märktes att de var upptagna. Skulle kunna tänka oss att bo där igen.

Great location. Comfy bed but the room wasn't very clean. Daily cleaning was of varying quality. One day they took all our toiletpaper so we hade to go down and ask for new rolls. The day after they took our towels but didn't replace them. The staff at front desk was very friendly and helped us out. Bathroom had a funky smell and wasn't very well ventilated. The door to the room was also hard to close and we saw other doors in the corridor that weren't properly closed.

Bra hotell, hyggligt nära till det mesta. Det finns mer att önska från personalen, speciellt receptionen - de var inte direkt service minded och de verkade lite lata.

Ok but not more
Professional and helpfull staff but the damp carpet in our room was nasty. You will be given slippers, but you still have to breathe the damp air. And they have the dirtiest carpet in the corridor I have ever seen in any hotel in any part of Europe. This is not a bad hotel but is is not as good as the pictures and the price inclines. Big plus for the excellent staff though!

Bra hotell i Edinburgh
Ett bra och prisvärt hotell, nära Haymarket station, där man kan ta spårvagn till flygplatsen eller bussar och tåg till andra destinationer .Det är ca 10 minuters promenad till centrum och Edinburgh Castle.

Superbra service, mindre bra toa
Toan var lite trög vid spolning och lappen för att man ville ha städning åkte av så vi fick till slut säga till i receptionen. Hård extra säng. I övrigt bra storlek på rummet, supertrevlig personalen, god frukost och god mat på hotellets restaurang. Kommer definitivt åka tillbaka i framtiden.

Poor value for money, bedroom carpet was stained by what looked like bleach, bathroom smelt of mould and the water pressure in the shower was very poor.......also incredibly noisy with a building site directly across the road and very noisy bars in the vicinity very difficult to sleep a very disappointing stay

Just needs an update. For as much as it costs it could really use a renovation. Dirty hall carpets are not what you want to see when walking to your room the first time. Staff was excellent! Location is ok as long as you like to walk (we do).

Super friendly staff, convenient downtown location to sites and dining. Good breakfast. Only bad, the tub/shower had really tall sides and no safety bar to hold onto getting in and out.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr gut- man kann die Innenstadt ganz einfach zu Fuß erreichen und hat viele Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und ist auch direkt beim Stop "Haymarket" von wo aus man den Bus zum Flughafen nehmen kann. Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht allzu sauber, aber es ist okay. Das Personal ist überwiegend nett, jedoch hatten wir auch 2 etwas unangenehme Situationen. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Im Großen und Ganzen hat alles gepasst, die Lage ist sehr gut und für ein City Hotel hat man alles was man braucht.

Property was clean and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable although pillows were not (in my opinion, I realize this is subjective). Water pressure was good and hot in the shower but it was not easy getting in and out of the tub the way it was positioned in the room. The main negative for us was that it wasn't really in close walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. When we got back from touring each day and were too exhausted to go very far, we ended up eating 3 nights in the hotel because it was the line of least resistance. The restaurant was nice and reasonably priced, however. Overall a great find and the most reasonably priced for that immediate area.
