Each time you reported it our maintenance engineer went straight to the property. Each time, he found the hot water to be fully functional. After your check-out no further guests experience any issues and as such we are unsure what the issue may have been. Dear Guest, I am disappointed to hear your experience in our apartment was not up to the high standards we aim to present every one of our guests upon arrival. I would like to reassure you saying that the carpets and the whole apartment were deep cleaned before your arrival and that could be why you found them to be still in the process of drying when you checked-in. Following your feedback you left at the office the day after your arrival, we have immediately sent the housekeeping supervisor to re-clean the floors and carpets. Also I am sorry to hear you encountered outside noise disturbance and from the flat above you, we could have spoken to the other guests had you contacted us at the time to inform about the noise. Regarding the WiFi, the internet provider has investigated the network issue and it has now been resolved. I apologise sincerely about the issues you encountered during your stay and do hope you will allow us to welcome you again in Edinburgh for your next stay.

Your parents arrived at our office to prior to the check-in time stating that you were already late for the pre-graduation activates. Our team was able to provide you with the permit for complimentary parking early and we made arrangements for your check-in later that day. At the time of booking you selected one of our Old Tolbooth Wynd apartments which are situated in Old Tolbooth Wynd itself. To ensure full clarity we specifically market the apartment with the exact address including postcode as well as proximity to local attractions and our key collection office clearly noted; the opening line of this apartments description is “Situated in Old Tolbooth Wynd”. This information is displayed prior to any reservation being made and again throughout the booking process as well as in all confirmation documents but we are sorry if this information was overlooked when you made your reservation. We provide tea, coffee, sugar, milk and mineral water in the apartment for our guests arrival and this was explained to your parents in our office but we are very sorry if there was any confusion over this when you entered the apartment. Should you return to Edinburgh in the future our team is always on-hand to provide any advice you may require in selecting the perfect apartment for your needs on booking.com and happy to provide any assistance you may need.

Situated in one of Edinburgh’s most picturesque streets our Victoria Street apartment sleeps up to four guests over two double bedrooms and offers Egyptian cotton linen, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room with iconic views and a vintage bathroom with stained glass window. We are very sorry if you felt that we should have provided additional toiletries and have passed your comments along to our design team for consideration.
