Ett lite mindre mysigt hotell med trevlig personal. Nära till Edinburgh, finns även bussförbindelse precis utanför.

Trevligt hotell med bra personal. Pub finns på hotellet. Gångavstånd till centrum för den som vill annars går det bussar precis utanför. Vi återvänder gärna hit.

Hela familjen gillade hotellet. Mysigt, trevlig personal och god mat i puben.Stort plus att det går att fixa te och kaffe på rummet.

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Big fluffy towels. Quiet area. Beautiful area. If i had to pick at anything its to keep the coffee, milk etc stocked each day rather than having to ask for it. But overall loved our stay and would definitely stay again without hesitation.

Fabulous stay at The Hampton. Charming Inn with the most wonderful people. Restaurant fantastic with live music some nights that was terrific but no worries ends at appropriate hour. Perfect location for Edinburg or quick access to rail and air travel.

Our stay at the Hampton was very nice. Staff were extremely helpful. Especially the manager/supervisor on shift. Cant remenber his name. Breakfast was very good. A few things i would say that could be improved is the age of the room. By that i mean the floor was very uneven so it meant the drawers sat at an angle so the couldnt shut. Some of the drawers also needed to je fixed. The floor was very creaky. I also found there not to be enough power plungs for charging my various gadgets and have the lamps on. But overall i really enjoyed my stay. Well situated to bus and tram routes. And again cant say enough about your very friendly staff, they were amazing!!

Ideal for visiting Edinburgh
Very good location for visiting Edinburgh with buses every few minutes at the stop next to the hotel ( including the number 100 to and from airport). Nice pub and restaurant, tried and tested. We stayed 2 nights : comfy room and bed, shower a bit leaky and kitchen vents just below the window (hotels.com room) but quiet at night. Good breakfast.

Amazing stay!
Carol was amazing & accommodated to what I needed. I wish we could have stayed longer. Beds were comfy, clean and the building is beautiful. Scottish breakfast is a must, food was perfect. Service was amazing too. Thank you so much for an amazing stay. Location for zoo is perfect and just a £10 taxi ride into grass market at the bottom of the steps upto the castle.

Very friendly and helpful staff
Arrived a little early for check in but the young lady had no problem with that and got us booked in straight away. The room was clean and comfortable, shower a bit cramped but ok. The young lady on duty gave advice on public transport which made our evening trip simple.

Was originally given a room with other people’s belongings. Good was fair. Ran into the same random person’s dog on three occasions that would not stop barking. Staff was VERY polite and room was comfortable.

Great wee place! I was looking for somewhere for just one night with good links into Princes Street and there are lots of buses that take you in which takes 5mins as it’s on the main road into Edinburgh. This place is right across from Murrayfield if you’re a rugby fan! Nice little place. Bar area is nice, the rooms are slightly dated but clean and comfortable and great for a few nights in Edinburgh.

Good option near Murrayfield stadium and EDI.
The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The pub was delightful, with good food and a pleasant atmosphere at quite reasonable prices. Given no public computer for printing boarding passes and the like, the property would benefit from a stronger Wifi signal. We had to re-log-on often just to maintain connection. Also, the hotel should promote the fact that it's only about 100 meters from the #100 Airlink bus stop.
