Mycket bra hotell.
Mycket bra hotell, rent och snyggt. Väldigt god mat till bra pris i Bistron. Mycket god frukost.

Små rum inte alls som på bilderna. Det luktar gammalt o lite fuktigt i hela hotellet. Rena rum och stort badrum

Best hotel on 12 days road trip in Scotland. (Incl North 500) Fantastic breakfast. Great large rooms.

Bra budgethotell.
Rent och snyggt, trevlig personal. En bit att gå men inga problem. Bra frukost men som vanligt i Storbritannien värdelöst kaffe, fanns dock Nescafé på rummet som vi tog med ner frukostmatsalen, det hjälper lite.:)

Just a night waiting to go home. Slow check-in with a single confused man in reception. Room OK but it smelled smoke. Excellent breakfast.

Söker man något enkelt hotel kan detta vara ett alternativ. Frukostbuffén är fantastisk men rummen är slitna. Sängarna utlegade. Badrummen fuktskadade. Det är väldigt lyhört mellan rummen

Trevlig personal, men rummet och badrummet var rätt så små. Mycket bra och rejäl frukost. Inte så centralt, men nära Holyrood Park med fina excursioner.

Bra hotell till bra pris och hyfsat nära centrum
Fräscht och bra när man började jämföra med annat i samma prisklass. Vi sov våra två första nätter här när vi kom till Skottland. Går att gå in till the Royal mile och centrum, men efter en hel dag att gå blev det långt om man ville in senare på kvällen. Men ändå lätt att ta sig närmare med buss. Hållplats låg precis intill. Hyfsat generös frukostbuffé. Man blev mätt iaf! Kan absolut rekommendera att bo där.

Really nice room. The breakfast was great & the staff were really helpful advising us about things to do. Also got free access to a sports complex nearby with a sauna which was a bonus as we didn’t realise we got this. 😊

Everything was excellent. And I would recommend that the large sitting chairs in the rooms be recushioned, no padding at all. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay and will be back.

The property's location was ideal for us. My daughter was studying the the Univ of Edinburgh and staying at Pollack halls. The proximity made it easier to see her and make plans. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and staff is very friendly. The bath amenities are top-rated! The heated towel rack helped a lot too. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Clean, spacious rooms. Incredibly helpful staff, nothing too much trouble , went the extra mile helping with my disabled 93 yr old mum. Staff always bright & cheerful. Restaurant food and breakfasts were excellent- great quality food and choice.

A real find.
Don’t be put off by the uninspiring building. Lovely rooms, huge beds, great shower. All the staff were delightful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

Stayed a few times and it’s always been a pleasure however the reservations team (I assume aren’t based in hotel) are very rude and condescending. It’s a shame because the staff in house are excellent

The Scholar staff is amazing and very friendly! I appreciated their approach to helping me when I needed something. I also had dinner at the restaurant and that was great too. The hotel is super clean and walking distance to many nearby locations. The room was nicely spaced and organized. The amenities was very good too! The lounge area was a nice place to sit and catch up on your work or just read. Again, staff is amazing!

Wonderful stay
Amazing hotel room, services, and breakfast choices! Went there for a conference and the hotel is situated at the same site as John McIntyre Conference Hall. Very convenient, would recommend!
