“I booked the room on Aug 2nd, but there is no reception but a paper with host's number. nobody picked up the phone. They only replied text message. my booked room was occupied (Deluxe Room, Mountain View – The Viognier). And the gust said they booked this sam room couple of months ago (I met with them when I texting to the host). “We stayed one night at Garden street inn on our road trip down Highway 1, and this is such a lovely place! The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable, the hotel has a perfect location in the centre of town, and the service is excellent - an amazing home cooked breakfast and tea, coffee and cookies in the lobby. Overall a great stay, we would absolutely recommend to stay here and we’d love to be back! ”

“The place was charming and the room very comfortable and spacious. It had everything you need. The only complaint I would have is that because it is an old Victorian, every window and door is loos and there is no insulation whatsoever. That means that you can hear every sound from every room and even with a breeze the windows and doors rattle all night. I guess that's what old Victorians are like.”
