It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. “We had a lovely stay at Tor Na Coille Hotel & Restaurant. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious, and the staff were welcoming. We dined in the restaurant and I had the steak burger with a side of pepper sauce — it was really tasty, and the chef was great at explaining how they could adapt other dishes for gluten-free too. “The hotel is very nice with a lovely park and scenery. Unfortunately we got a room that was so hot and the fan we had was nearly useless. Service in restaurant was a little bit slow and we didn’t get the attention. Food was ok, but pricy. ”
