Hotellet borde klassas som 4 stjärnigt, inte 5. Personalen var vänlig och gjorde sitt bästa, men de var dålig skolade. Vi fick hela tiden en känsla av att vi störde de när vi ville beställa någonting eller behövde hjälp med något. De kunde fortsätta prata med varandra trots att vi stod där och ville ha hjälp. Hotellets skick är okej för ett hotell byggt 1999, men särskilt poolområdet går att göra mysigare.

Herods palace more like Herods hostel
Very poor condition, we changed the room because of broken shower, cigarettes were all over the terrace, the furnitures are full of stains, the food section is full of dirt (chairs and tables) that’s not even close to be a hotel that asking for 500$ per night. It’s the 7th time we’ve visited this hotel and the last one.

I would never choose to stay anywhere else in Eilat. If you ever close your eyes and dream of the perfect vacation a d the perfect hotel, then Herods Palace is that place! Hard to imagine something better. Eilat plus Herods equal perfect vacation. Almost anything i could say would not be enough or do it justice so I hope the 2 key words - perfect vacation- would convince anyone to give it a try!

Excellent stay
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, although I would recommend that you improve the quality of the front desk staff. They try to help, but they are not always knowledgeable.

Probably the worst experience I ever had
Service was so bad that is not even possible to grade. The condition of the hotel is very old. If I just took a look in online reviews on this hotel I would never go there. This was probably the worst stay I ever had in Israel in my whole life.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD ! ! We arrived to the hotel at 10:00 am we been told that the room will be ready at 1 pm at 3:30 pm after we waited in the lobby for too long we had the chance to Speke with the Hotel manger she was super rude disrespectful and unprofessional she gave us some BS story abut to Delay and she offered us to take the money and leave if we are not happy . I was sure she’s joking but she was serious so we took the money and we went out to find another hotel at 4:30 pm A few hours before Shabbat , We wasn’t the only couple that go through the same process shame of you Herods

the hotel has an excellent location,near the beach and close to the see walking street, it is not much oriente to the international travellers (mostly focused on domestic business), staff at reception struggled with english and not much helpful (maybe for language barrier?)

The room was not clean at all, the refrigerator was broken the safety-deposit box didn't work, the toilet tank is working all the time. When we came to the room in the last day at 10:25 after Breakfast the room was clean and the room attendant throw all our food from the refrigerator and our Baby staff like diapers and more staff.

Perfect location and great service.
Stuff were really helpful and nice and always had a smile and will to help. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms are a bit outdated and really need some upgrading and upkeeping - the bath and shower drapes had stains and the carpet was very old, besides that the location is great, the service is wondaful, the food is amazing and the room size sensible.

En general es muy recomendable, aunque la opción de comida debería ser más amplia, en lugar de tener solo el restaurant de buffet y el otro, Tamarind, al que sólo ciertos huéspedes pueden acceder. El personal de recepción y bell boys es muy atento y servicisl.

Nice looking but rooms are SO noisy
The hotel is grand looking from the outside. However, we had to change rooms 3 times because the rooms are SO loud and not soundproofed where there are connecting doors. We were moved to a room with a connecting door where they guaranteed us no one was staying on the other side and of course, someone was staying there and we could hear their entire conversation from 2-4 a.m. down to when they got a text message on their phone. We complained several times and they did eventually move us to a quiet room on the last day. At that point it was our 4th room and we were exhausted- I wouldn’t come back to this hotel again. They need to invest in soundproofing the rooms. You shouldn’t be able to hear every noise coming from the room next door. Pro: Breakfast buffet was really nice.

Die Poolanlage ist wunderschön und der Blick auf das Meer traumhaft. Allerdings ist der Service nivht mit einem 5 Sterne Hotel in Europa zu vergleichen. Aber das ist mir hier im ganzen Land aufgefallen, leider! Man muss sich einfach damit abfinden und sein eigenen Weg gehen und die Gleichgültigkeit von dem personal Ausblenden. Aber hier in diesem Hotel haben sie sich mehr Mühe gegeben als in einem anderen Hotel wo wir vorher waren!!!
