Perfekt
Bästa hotell på länge. Perfekt ställe för utsikt, frukost , bad o bastu , rummet och personal. Rekommendera att ni ska bor där om ni ska till el calafate. Enda nackdel är att det ligger lite utanför stan men dom har gratis transfer mellan till och från hotell och stan

Nice hotel
The room was nice and the breakfast buffet very good. The spa was quite small and not everything was working. Very nice view from the hotel restaurant.

Otroligt fint läge med utsikt över sjön. En bit från stan, men att beställa en taxi är billigt och på kvällen har hotellet en shuttle som kör gäster till och från stan. Allt fungerade smidigt! Restaurangen med sina stora fönster är mycket fin, däremot så var maten inte något särskilt, heller inte utbudet på menyn.

El restaurante tiene pésimo servicio, las botellas de agua del restaurante que son de vidrio las rellenan y te las venden como nuevas. Nunca tienen nada del menú. Y la actitud del staff en todo el hotel es muy mala. Lastima tan bonito vista con tan mal personal

Localização fenomenal, à beira do Lago Argentino com uma vista de tirar o fôlego. O hotel precisa de alguma manutenção, o serviço não dá conta de repor as louças se o café da manhã está muito cheio. A cama fazia barulho e o travesseiro era MUITO alto. De resto, adoramos nossa estadia.

Over priced. Air conditioning did not work. Front desk denied it was not working. After 3 trips to front desk a portable unit was provided. Restaurant staff was not helpful, food was adequate, but uninspired. Room had hot pot, but no coffee, tea or cups were provided. .

The hotel is in desperate need of a full renovation. I would say is a 2 stars hotel, definitely not 4. The walls are thinner than paper. You can hear everything that’s happening in the room next, above and under you. It was almost impossible to rest with so many kids running in the hallways, yelling and screaming and the parents or the hotel staff wouldn’t do nothing about it. The price per room VS what you get is totally a ripoff. The breakfast buffet was very poor. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great views, spacious rooms. Staff generally gracious but seem tired at times. I liked that we were able to text the front desk via Whatsup to help us get taxis from downtown to get back to hotel even past 10pm. Food prices at the hotel restaurant are very reasonable but not the best. The breakfast selection was good. You’ll have to take a taxi to get to and from town. The hotel shuttle service (taxi that they call and pay for you) runs 4x per day (10am, 6pm to town; 12pm, 8pm from town back to hotel).

The management of this hotel left much to be desired. The recurring issue with room keys was not only inconvenient but frustrating, as it disrupted the flow of my stay. Having to make repeated trips to the front desk just to access my room was certainly not what I expected from an establishment of this caliber. Furthermore, the absence of a basic amenity like ice for drinks was perplexing. It's a standard expectation for hotels, and the oversight gave the impression of a lack of attention to detail. The limited food options, coupled with the absence of a diverse menu, fell short of the standards typically associated with a 4-star rating. The overall experience left me questioning the hotel's commitment to providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for its guests.

A vista é maravilhosa, o hotel é muito confortável. Quarto ótimo, mesmo para três. Banheiro excelente. Cafe da manhã ok, podia ser melhor para ficar a altura do resto. Só ficamos chateados porque o SPA estava em reforma e isso só foi avisado no check in

The hotel was a bit run down and very bare-bones. There was an electric kettle in our room with no mugs, tea or instant coffee. The carpet in our room had many stains. The pool was rather disappointing - the steam room was broken, and one had to check out towels and return them to the lobby (not in the same area as the pool.) The pool is quite small and barely heated. The staff was fine - did not really go out of their way to be welcoming or helpful.

Gorgeous views, two big flaws
This hotel *seemed* like a smoking hot deal. And we did love our stay and would recommend it to friends overall. But there were two really stupid and frustrating things that caused significant trouble. First, the staff were all lovely and helpful. The best part of the hotel are the incredible views of Lake Argentina and the beautiful snow-capped peaks on the far side. That makes staying here alone worth it. The beautiful design of the hotel, including an incredible dining room and lobby area are the cherry on top. We also found the bed comfortable and the crib for our 2 year old was the best we’ve had at any hotel, primarily due to the great bedding. Most hotels provide no or very bad bedding for cribs. But the two terrible aspects of the hotel, which are both quite tragic as they’re easily preventable with slightly better management were this: 1. Terrible thermostat management. There’s some kind of hotel wide thermostat (I think heated floors) that by default leave the rooms a ROASTING 26 C (or 79 F). This is uncomfortably hot and we had to routinely shed all our clothes to be comfortable in the room. The front desk finally showed us how to blast the AC at 16 C to get the room tolerable for the times the AC could keep up. Housekeeping kept turning off AC, had to hide remote. 2. Unusable Wi-Fi. This was particularly frustrating as I had some work I had to do. So I ended up paying an extra $50 USD for a bunch of data from my US cell phone provider to tether with my phone.

It was an amazing view and beautiful room and location looking at the lake, amazing sunrise and sunsets, warm and helpful reception and staff, good restaurant, lovely pool and more. Easy to get to town by hotel shuttle or taxi (or longer walk). We would totally stay there again.

The staff at this hotel are second to none. Helpful, friendly, informative, and courteous. Andreas especially went above and beyond. The rooms themselves are more like an old holiday inn.

Beautifull view from the room! Very big rooms with a comfortable beds. Breakfast is nice and rich in varieties of foods! Staff is friendly. The pool is a bit disappointed... The hotel is far away from the city center: it is quiet but you need transportation to the city and back (it is not a big problem). Recommended, I would stay here next time, too!

Design suítes - Hotel muito bom. Quarto confortável e espaçoso com uma vista tão linda para o lago que já vale a estadia. - O ar condicionado do nosso quarto não gelava muito. Para nós não foi um problema, mas para pessoas que sentem mais calor pode ser. - Café da manhã básico. - Fica afastado do centro da cidade. Há um transfer do hotel mas que funciona em pouquíssimos horários. Tentamos pegar um dia, chegamos antes do horário no local indicado, ficamos esperando por mais de meia hora e o transfer não apareceu. Não conte com ele. A área da piscina é bem bonita, vale a pena. Nos hospedaríamos novamente.

Poor choice in a nice town
Wonderfully designed hotel that has slipped incredibly. The first room we were given had teo cracked windows. Drapes it both rooms were held together with tape. Bright spot: Francisco at the front desk. Don't think the carpets have been cleaned since it opened sixteen years ago. Thin walls. The place would be fantastic if it had a huge cleaning and repair. Hard to enjoy the views in that room.

El hotel es muy bueno y muy agradable, pero le falta una mantencion y remodelacion adecuada . Habian varios detalles que mejorar, como que en la piscina no habia toallas disponibles, el WC del baño no funcionaba correctamente, un vidrio trizado en el dormitorio. Además el personal de recepción no estaba con un uniforme institucional del hotel.- El desayuno puede tambien mejorar

Quedé enamorado de este hotel, es un hotel moderno con amplios cuartos y amenidades excelentes. El servicio del personal también fue excelente. El restaurante del hotel es muy conveniente y bueno si no se quiere ir al centro de El Calafate. Mi única sugerencia es que se refuercen las medidas de sonido, ya que un día en la habitación vecina hubo mucho ruido, parecía que las personas están teniendo una discusión muy fuerte y tenían un bebé que no dejaba de gritar. Reporté esta situación en recepción y me ofrecieron hacer un cambio de habitación si continuaba, afortunadamente ya no continuó. Sin duda volvería a este hotel.
