Our quiet country cabin is nestled back off of the road, right up against the forest. You will be surrounded by panoramic views of the woods, while you stay nice and cozy inside our completely retro-remodeled home. The comfort and peace that you will feel here will make you never want to leave.

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
You'll have a great night's sleep, no matter which room you choose. The beds are exceptionally comfy and the theme is very cozy!

Both rooms have queen beds and plenty of light. One of the bedrooms has a desk for a dedicated working space.

☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆
The one full bathroom has a combo shower/tub (great water pressure) and is stocked with all the bathroom essentials you could need, including plenty of shower towels, makeup towels, Q-tips, cotton balls, shampoo/conditioner, and body wash.

☆☆ KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM ☆☆
The kitchen has been completely renovated to fit the retro-aesthetic of the home. The beautiful butcher block counter top, new appliances, and black & gold theme creates a truly unique space. Our kitchen is also fully stocked with all the cooking essentials (including a Keurig and coffee pods, of course!).

The living room offers plenty of seating around the wood-burning fireplace & smart TV. Truly the centerpiece of the home, this living area is so comfy and cozy that you will want to cuddle up under a blanket with your friends/family and stay here all day!

☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆
Right off of the kitchen, you are welcomed onto a deck covered by string lights. On the deck, you can use the grill & outdoor dining set. Right off the deck, you will follow a pathway over to the propane powered fire pit & some outdoor games.

**Please note that this is a very small & quiet town, so noise must be kept to a minimum at all times. Our neighbors are very respectful of our home, so please keep to yourselves to respect them as well!

Quiet place

Overall it was comfortable. Could have used a small table in kitchen to eat at. Wasn’t stocked with enough kitchen essentials.. two small pans needed replacing and owner was very responsive and thankful for the ideas. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Back deck had nice lighting and clean grill but lacked ambiance because of placement of garbage pails. Owner said they would move them next time. We would return but felt it was too pricey for a place with no A/C!

Cozy and quiet retreat in the wooods!

Beautiful setting - very private and quiet, but not far from town and local activities. Very responsive owner, and the property was just as lovely as the listing description promised.

Exactly What I Was Looking For!

Here's what I was looking for and why I decided to stay at the Retro Countryside Cabin.I was looking for a dog friendly place, with a relatively open floor plan inside and immediate access to outdoor space. I was traveling with my super senior dog so the latter two were of utmost importance and the Retro Countryside Cabin satisfied all three of the criteria.Even though I didn't need both of the bedrooms, it was nice to have my choice of which spacious, full-sized bedroom, with closet space, to sleep in. We all know, that's not often the case. Again, since I was traveling with my dogs, proximity to a grocery store was more important than proximity to restaurants and there's a Peck's Supermarket very close by. If you prefer, you're also a very short drive away from a variety of restaurants.Lastly, the in-house W/D is a real bonus.

Clean and cozy house!

It was the one of the beautiful house rentals. Very clean and looks all new furniture and utensils. It is just as it looks in the photos. Also great communication with the owner. It was such a great vacation stays!
