âThis is my second visit to Cattaniâs Riverside Home. Itâs a unique property, but itâs absolutely stunning and amazing. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Cattani and her staff are amazing. The property is stunning, and each time I have used a tuk tuk to travel around the sights of Ayutthaya, before returning to the tranquil surroundings of Cattaniâs riverside home. I tried the Japanese house with riverside balcony this time and I loved it. Iâll be back, I love this place and you will too.â
âThis hotel is more like a private living in a house. We were exellently recieved by the staff and very well taken care of during our stay. The room was beautiful and large. We were recommended to take a scenic 2 hour boat tour leaving directly from the residence which we realy enjoyed. We will definitely stay at Phuttal Residenve during our next visit to Ayutthaya!â
âI had an unexpected weekend off and decided to come to Ayutthaya for the weekend. Most of the hotels were sold out, but this was still available. Iâm so glad it was. The owners were so gracious and welcoming, helped me plan my day, and helped make all the necessary arrangements. Truly Thai hospitality at its best. I canât thank them enough. â
âComfortable bed. Good breakfast. Very clean and almost new. Good service and very helpful. Not walking distance but you can borrow a bike or rent a motorbike.â
âArrived hot and dirty after long ride. No water in the room. Can't buy a beer in the restaurant or even at the 7-eleven in the adjacent shopping area. Restaurant closes 7:30. If you want a drink you need to buy it at the steakhouse at the other side of the property and bring it in.â
âWe stayed one night at Roymen, wish we had more time to spend here. This is a beautiful property, very quiet and tranquil. The owner was so friendly, hospitable and accommodating, arranged a tuk tuk for us in no time! She tried helping me with a train ticket issue I was having. She provided us with a coffee and light snack to choose from for breakfast which was delicious. The air conditioning and water pressure was great. Would highly recommend this place. â
âAmazing friendly host with great English. I loved the stay and would absolutely be back on my next trip to Ayathayya. Very clean inside the rooms with A.C. Toast and Jam in morning for breakfast along with selection of drinks. They sell cold bottled water, soda, and rent out bikes.â
âDysfunctional hotel with staff and manager who did not care. Rooms substantially more dated than they look on the web. Stayed two nights and half of the time there was no running water and you could not flush the toilet. Internet slow. Breakfast was quite good though.
Tried to use the hotel phone half a dozen times to book another hotel as there was no running water. Did not get through, just got a mechanical voice message in Thai. No compensation offered for the inconveniences instead the...
âWas a neat and clean little place, easy walk to shops for food and close to tourist attractions.
