SERENE RETREAT is a recent renovated RUSTIC cabin tucked away in the mountains of North GA with a serene location to become one with nature. A cozy, modern, and secluded cabin only a few miles away from downtown Ellijay where you can relax & let loose with your family and friends.
EXTRA LARGE-Spacious cabin with a Fire Pit, Hot Tub, Hardscape Patio, Screened Porch, Gas Grill, & Huge Deck Space to spend just as much time outside as inside.
2 Master Bedrooms w/ Rustic King Beds, Vaulted ceilings, Recliner, and Crisp Linen.

GENERAL: This property is a perfect retreat for a couple of families in the Walnut Mountain community encompassing a neighborhood swimming pool, lakes, creeks, hiking trails, a waterfall, and tennis courts. If fishing is your thing, then this is the place for you. Fishing is permitted in any of the neighborhood lakes/rivers. The cabin is also equipped with numerous TVs and a BAR AREA to help you and your family enjoy your stay even more.
LIVING AREA: The cabin features vaulted ceilings, 5+ TVs, high quality stereo speakers, and is furnished with cabin themed furniture and decorations.
KITCHEN: A fully loaded kitchen features stainless steel appliances including a dual coffee maker, toaster, blender, and much more!
BEDROOMS: 4 Bedrooms including 2 masters + 1 Loft area all equipped with their own TV to relax and wind down the night.
BATHROOMS: 4 Full Baths and 1 Half bath.

This is such an ideal cabin. Great views and cozy rooms! The road in is steep (We were very glad to have four-wheel drive!) so make sure you connect with the owner on the best way in. We'll definitely come back for another Bookclub weekend!

We had our annual family gathering for Christmas in ellijay 12 of us to be exact and this cabin did not disappoint! It was spacious, it had everything we needed, and most importantly it was CLEAN! Definitely worth the visit!

We enjoyed the house. The inside was very clean and spacious, with more than enough room for the small group of us. Beds were comfortable, pillows not so much (bring your own!). We loved the ping pong and air hockey and spent most of our time playing or in the hot tub. The kitchen seemed to be stocked well with dishware. This location, just 16 minutes from Ellijay, is great too! The only negative on this house was the exterior. The owners or property manager need to give some of the attention they give to the interior to the outside areas. I understand the joro spiders can show up fast, but I didn't love having to clean up before we could even go outside and some areas were just too full of spider webs for us to bother with. There were also some highly impressive weeds. These are easy fixes that I'm sure will be addressed as the property stays booked more frequently in the fall!

Plenty of room for everyone

We had 12 people in our group that stayed at the cabin. There was plenty of space so we never felt crowded. The accommodations were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with dishes and pans, as well as a waffle maker and a Keurig. The property is beautiful and is truly on a mountain! The host checked in a couple of times to see if all was well with our stay, and he replied to any questions I had promptly.

Great for a Group

The cabin was very nice and very clean. Everything is updated, the mattresses are comfortable and in great condition, the hot tub is well maintained, and we loved the two huge sliding doors that open up to the screened in porch.

Beautiful Cabin in a Great Location!

We had a party of 11 staying at the cabin and there was no shortage of sleeping areas or bathrooms. Absolutely love the hot tub and outdoor swing! There was so much to do, even being stuck inside in the rain all day! The only thing we struggled with was getting in the gate (the code never worked for anyone and we didn't come across the guest passes until the last day) and trash - there's no bin on the property, you have to take it up to the community dumpster. The driveway is also terrifying but we learned to come in the opposite direction and it was much better!

Family get together

Beautiful views! The fall leaves were at there peak color. There is plenty of sleeping spaces. We didn’t get to enjoy fire pit outside because of the burn ban. The hot tub is amazing. Everyone enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey. The kids had lots of room to run and play. I would recommend this cabin for sure. Great place to enjoy your family and friends. .

We loved the location, the house was beautiful and we had plenty of room for all 8 of us. The only complaint that I have is the deck area had not been cleaned in some time and there were lots of spider webs and leaves.

Relaxing Stay in the Mountains

Our group of seven ranged in age from six years old to 82 and the layout worked well for us. The ping pong and air hockey tables were big hits with the kids and having two master suites on the main level was ideal for the two older couples. The hill getting to the house is not for the faint of heart, but we'd certainly stay here again. The homeowner was very responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with. The property is in a gated community and the gate to use is Gate 2, which we didn't see noted anywhere. That would have been helpful to know the first day when checking in.

40th Birthday Getaway!

Had an amazing time! The cabin was beautiful, clean, well-stocked and all-around a really great space. There were a total of 9 of us and we never felt crowded or short of space. The game room/bar was a big hit. And when we had a little trouble with the hot tub, the owner was immediately responsive and helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone. The only thing I would advise is that the road leading to the driveway can be a little steep/treacherous for those not used to mountain living. But once you get in and parked (and do it once) it’s fine. But again, we had a fabulous time at this awesome cabin!

Loved this place!!

This was a beautiful and very comfortable cabin. It had everything we needed to make this stay like home. Very well stocked kitchen and exceptionally clean house. The only problem we had was that the WIFI never worked fromt he time we checked in until the time we checked out. We were on vacation but still needed to finish some documnets. We made it work by going to town and finding a place with WIFI. We would def. rent this place again.

Wonderful stay

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! The cabin was very spacious and well-kept. The kitchen is well stocked and great for cooking. The owner sent excellent instructions prior to check in which made everything very easy. Our family really enjoyed the game room in the basement (ping pong and air hockey) as well as the very large hot tub outside. I would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to return in the near future!

Awesome Time!

Beautiful cabin, very cozy. Had a great time with family on Christmas. The views was stunning and there were a lot of activities to do in the house. Owner was easy to communicate with and answered any question i had. We had a great time!
