Relax and unwind at this secluded cabin with family and friends, located in the North Georgia Mountains. Tucked away on over 2 acres, the property borders Crooked Creek, there is a hiking trail that will lead you to a seating area on the creek. This cozy cabin has a spacious primary suite with a soaking tub and walk-in shower, a full kitchen, a private hot tub, firepit, and a grill. Carters Lake is 20.4 miles away, where you can enjoy a day of fishing, boating, hiking or bird watching. Apple picking is just down the road (7.2 miles) where you enjoy tractor rides and fresh cider when in season. Outdoors relax on the deck while enjoying morning coffee and watching the birds. During the evenings gather around the built-in firepit right off the deck and enjoy some roasted marshmallows or s'mores. The private hot tub is standing by to help you rejuvenate after the day's adventures. The home's open-concept layout is sure to inspire family gatherings.

Check your surroundings / be accessible to renters
We did enjoy our stay, but I wish you could view the area first - empty homeless tent site within yards of the home, the creek is not in the back yard. We messaged the property owners before going to see where our kids could explore and if there was plenty of towels because of the hot tub - no response. If the owner actually checked to see their property was being rented and there was questions asked - then we probably wouldn’t have gone 24 hours with no Wifi - no cell service - and the land line down.
Town is 20ish minutes from the house, that is where you want to look for firewood because the property doesn’t supply any.
We did enjoy the disconnect from the world but would have been better prepared for our 4 kids under 8.

Weekend Getaway
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wanted a secluded weekend getaway & this was it! This cabin was absolutely beautiful, with new appliances & everything we needed to cook& stay in. Also we were super impressed with how clean this place was. We got to use the hot tub & made a really nice fire in the pit. The drive into town was about 20 minutes and it was close to a cidery as well. We can’t wait to come back & bring family & friends with us. 10/10 would recommend.
