“There was an issue with the pool at the Cretan Lodge prior to our arrival, our hosts contacted us a few days before and asked if Canes Villa would be ok as a substitute as they recognized the importance of a pool for the kids. We were very happy with the location. It was very easy to get to all of the areas we had planned to visit while in thay region of Crete. We only used the main house as we were a family of 4 travelling with small children, but if travelling with a larger group or 2 families...

“We had a wonderful vacation. The grounds were perfect for our family of 7 adults and four children under the age of eight. The kids loved the swimming pool, playground, and were completely safe due to the fenced yard. There are many beautiful beaches in the area. I am grateful for a comment about bringing beach shoes. I have to say that the two houses are finished nicely but they were small for 11 people. Two of my grandchildren had to sleep in the living room which was not ideal in the morning....
