Stunning 4 Season Lake Burntside Log Cabin

  • Welcome to our Lake Burntside 4 Season retreat. This newer hand scribed 1,700 square foot log cabin on 2 acres of property and 200’ of frontage on the pristine waters of Lake Burntside is only 9 miles from Ely town ctr and minutes to the boundary waters canoe area.

    The open plan cabin has a master bedroom and full bathroom on the main level as well as a loft with full bath, sleeping up to 8 in beds. It has a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, great views and large patio overlooking the lake as well as a new barrel sauna down by the water and dock.

    In the summer, use our canoe or keep your boat on the dock as you enjoy fishing, watersports, canoeing and endless water activity on the +7,000 acre Lake Burntside known for its crystal clear waters as well as it’s fishery of Lake Trout, Whitefish, Walleye, Northern, perch and pan fish . For winter, the home is well insulated with heated floors so take advantage of abundant cross country and snowmobile trails (snowmobile trail passes right by property on lake) or enjoy snowshoeing, ice fishing, dogsledding, or just relaxing with hot cocoa or wine in front of the fire. Enjoy fall colors by taking a hike on one of the many trails within minutes of the cabin.

Very clean. Very good communicator. The property and the lake were incredible. I brought our large pontoon and the launch down the road and extra space along the driveway made it easy. We would love to stay here again. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin on Burntside Lake. We stayed there as a family of four and the accommodations were perfect. Everything was just as described and the location is convenient to Ely and other area lakes. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for great fishing and a beautiful view. We hope to return many times in the future. Thank you for sharing this gem of a property.

I almost hate to write the review because I'd like to keep this place to myself! Let me start with the beautiful cabin, it's exactly as it looks in the photos. The view of the lake is stunning, the dock is in great shape and the sauna is very nice. The hosts are beyond accommodating, I highly recommend staying on this beautiful property on Burntside Lake. Very relaxing environment & close proximity to town, grocery store, restaurants & gas stations.Can’t beat what the great outdoors has to offer while enjoying the comfort of this home.Owners are accommodating & quick to respond to any issue. The Burntside Log Cabin and location are both beautiful. It allowed us the perfect time together with family. The large cabin had all the amenities that we needed. The location was ideal to enjoy the Ely area.Thankyou to the host for sharing their home with others.

The cabin was beautiful! Very clean with a great view of the lake. The location is outstanding, and offers plenty of privacy but is still close enough to town to go out to eat or grocery shopping. This hosts were great and made our stay comfortable and trouble free. I would highly recommend this cabin in the woods. I hope to return soon.

Cabin had more than enough living space for our party along with the full kitchen and separate eating area. The hosts were a delight to work with and very accommodating with our requests of adding additional people last minute and early check in! The property itself is gorgeous with great views, and direct lake access via snowmobile in the winter. Could not recommend this property enough!

Lovely cabin home with beautiful views. Perfectly peaceful. We enjoyed stargazing, fishing off the dock, campfire by the lake and lots of nearby hiking. Good communication with owners. All the amenities for a pleasant stay. Can’t wait to go back!
