Beläget på 20 privata hektar med utsikt över Yellowstone River och Paradise Valley, är detta anpassade logghus den perfekta Yellowstone National Park basecamp för både par och familjer. A-ramdesign gör vardagsrummet rymligt med högt i tak och stora fönster som ger ett fågelperspektiv av Yellowstone River och södra Paradise Valley. Den norra vändningen runt däck är en perfekt plats att grilla, lounna, njuta av solen och se solstrålen blekna över floden.

Någon som är bekant med Paradise Valley kommer att inse att den här egenskapen ligger i Tom Miner Basin, en av de mest populära områdena i dalen. Tom Miner Basin är hem för besättningar av vilda djur som de migrerar in och ut ur Yellowstone National Park. Älg, rådjur, stora horn får och antilop kallar Tom Miner hem mycket av året. Från senhösten till våren kan man finna en besättning av stora hornfår sola sig i uppfarten och det närliggande gräsmarken. Hummingbirds älskar också området, som de tidigare ägarna fyllde sina matare trogna, för att se dem från fönstren.

På övervåningen finns två stora sovrum, alla med egna privata badrum och rymliga fåfänga på rummet. Ett rum har en kung och två XL tvillingar. Alla tre är helt nya och utvalda för komfort. XL tvillingarna kan konvertera till en andra kung, om gäster föredrar det. Det andra rummet har en ny king size-säng och två vanliga tvillingar.

På nedervåningen finns två mindre sovrum, alla med en queen size-säng. Båda sovrummen har fåfänga på rummet och de delar ett komplett badrum i östra flygeln med en dörr för fullständig integritet från resten av huset.

Det öppna konceptet köket är välfylld med grundläggande kryddor och gott om köksredskap, servis och glas. Köksön är ett bra ställe för frukost eller middag prep. Matbordet rymmer 8 bekvämt med utsikt över Yellowstone River, Paradise Valley och lägre Tom Miner Basin. Vardagsrummet har en plattskärms-TV med bekväma stolar och en soffa. Vi har också en leksakslåda för barn, böcker, filmer och ett elpiano.

Huset har alla nya handdukar och sängkläder i maj 2018 samt nya madrasser och nya deluxe madrasskuddar.

Om du behöver en rymlig basecamp för din sydväst semester till Montana med Yellowstone National Park entrén 15 miles away, och den geografiska gränsen några minuter upp på grusväg från huset, det här är platsen för dig.

We absolutely loved this home. The location was excellent, short drive to the North entrance of Yellowstone. Saw lots of wildlife from the deck. The views are amazing, the house was clean and exactly as advertised. The owners of the home were very helpful and welcoming. 100% recommend.

Nice space for families. Great location. Base of Tom Minor Basin. At 7 am and earlier- if you drive up the main road, you will see bears. Nice view. Convenient to Yellowstone. Clean, everything worked well.

The location and cleanliness of this home was excellent!! The owners are kind and very responsive. It was a perfect distance from many adventures!We traveled with 6 of our children ages 3-18, so 8 total. It was a bit of a tight fit for us. The listing states the house could sleep 12. I would not suggest taking more than 8 people. The kitchen appliances all work well, but the kitchen is small and there isn’t a lot of indoor seating for meals. We ate every breakfast and dinner at the house and packed lunch in the provided cooler (which was very helpful!). Due to limited storage space we had food covering the counters. Again, everything worked and was very clean, just not quite large enough for what we prefer!The seasonings aren’t well stocked so if you’re going to cook, I’d recommend bringing some or buying some. We flew so didn’t bring anything like that with us. It gets very hot in the home as the day goes on. We traveled in august. There are only a few fans for the bedrooms, so just keep that in mind. There were some very warm nights. It did finally cool off in the middle of the night/early morning. The view is absolutely stunning and the deck area is great for relaxing and hanging out. Overall it was a nice stay but we wouldn’t stay again due to the size and preferences for our family and how hot it became in the house. It was a very hot week so I understand though. If you’re used to AC it is quite an adjustment. It didn’t deter us from having an awesome week though!

Yellowstone Visit

Wonderful place to see wildlife just up the road behind the house. We saw elk, deer, and grizzly bears one evening before sunset. The two bedrooms upstairs were roomy, great for family. Great communication with host. We would love to come back again.

Great location, comfy stay

We are an extended family of 9 (siblings, spouses, 3 teens and grandparents) most of whom are visiting Yellowstone for the first time! The property was exactly as described. The hosts were responsive when we had a minor shower issue. They even gave us super useful wildlife viewing tips! And you cannot beat the location. We didn’t have time to stay longer, sadly. 10/10 totally recommend.

Best property ever!

Amazing property, view, and hosts. My son was sitting on the couch messaging on his phone, and I asked who he was talking to. He said the property owner. He seems like a great guy. This was an amazing cabin with a short drive to Yellowstone. We were able to see a lot of wildlife just driving around the mountain. The owners were so nice and great to deal with. We ended up buying a pan, spatula, and coffee filters for the property. I wish there were some better baking sheets and kitchen items (like a pizza cutter) in the kitchen, but that stuff wasn’t that big of a deal. Great property and you’ve got to check it out!

Beautiful, convenient location with friendly hosts

This property is great for a family vacation. About 20-25 minutes from Yellowstone, with lots of opportunities to see wildlife in the area. The house is clean, spacious and well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and helped us spot even more wildlife in the area. There is a small but well stocked grocery store in Gardiner for daily needs. Overall I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely stay

Multi-generational family stay while exploring Tetons, Yellowstone and surrounding area. Well appointed and lovely log cabin home. Comfortable surroundings, plenty of space to hang out together, sleep and bathrooms. Beautiful surroundings, greeted with snack basket and fresh eggs that was a wonderful surprise. Owners live down the hill on the river which was a great exploration. Friendly and offered welcome advice about surroundings re: Yellowstone and where to see grizzlies, etc. Location is central to what we wanted to do in area

Highly recommend

We highly recommend staying here. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved the view of Paradise Valley, cooking on the grill and relaxing on the deck at night looking at the stars with a cool breeze. This rental provided bear spray, coolers, river towels, dish, dishwasher and laundry detergent, a great variety of spices and cooking utensils. We had plenty of towels for the week. We were welcomed with farm fresh eggs and some snacks. We enjoyed talking to Vern. He is a very kind person. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here. We would definitely come back!

Peace and harmony

A wonderful place to stay and just a short drive from Yellowstone National Park. The views from the veranda are beautiful and there are plenty of birds and wildlife to see in the area. The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The Grill restaurant at Sage Lodge (recommended by Laura and Vern) is excellent and definitely worth a visit

Excellent location!

Everything was perfect. Plenty of room for 8 grown adults, even room for more. Location was amazing. We saw more wildlife in the immediate area than we did in the park. Highly recommend driving up Tom Miner rd and also Ol Yellowstone Rd. Lots of wildlife in the morning.

Perfect stay!

Our stay at this property couldn’t have been better. Home was clean, well appointed and spacious for our group of seven. Views were wonderful, owners offered some great suggestions for things to do and the deck was great for both enjoying the sun in the daytime and stargazing at night. Highly recommend for larger groups!

Great quiet location near Yellowstone

The house was just as advertised. Well laid out for the 6 of us, and very clean. It was also well equipped as we cooked extensively, indoors and out, for our group. I wouldn't hesitate to return again in the future.

Family Bucket List West Trip

We stayed at the Emigrant house during the Yellowstone portion of our family's bucket list trip West. The house was exactly what we were looking for - rustic, off the beaten path and perfectly large enough to accommodate the 9 of us comfortably. We especially enjoyed the farm fresh eggs left for us by the owner. What a special touch! Highly recommend!

Fantastic Family Reunion

The layout of this home is well laid out for a large group. It’s well stocked and furnished for comfort. VERY clean! It’s the perfect setting for a family reunion. There is a wonderful patio with lots of seating. Beautiful views and close to YNP. Owners are helpful and provided good tips such as stocking up on groceries on our way through Livingston. We enjoyed our time tremendously; just wish we could have stayed longer.

Family adventure

This home was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for the 5 adults and 3 kids. We were able to observe grizzlies in the wild nearby (at a safe distance!) and my husband and son did some fishing. It was not far from Yellowstone’s north entrance. There is a long dirt road to get to the house since the bridge was washed out, but the drive is definitely worth it.
