“Room was large and comfortable. We were there during a storm that took out power from the evening through the morning of our departure. The Inn had emergency lighting in the hallways but not in the rooms. Breakfast was very limited (no hot food or drink) because of the power outage.”

“Breakfast was very good, great variety. My only complaint is about the coffee machine, it takes to long for a cup to be made and a line backs up, especially if; like me, you’re getting a cup for more than yourself. I liked the pump thermos better.”

“This hotel is relatively new and is just beginning to show some signs of wear like chipping here and there is the bathroom, scratches on the bedside table, small holes in the window blind. It is generally very quiet there and the walls seem to be thick enough to block out the TV or other normal sounds from adjacent rooms. If you value quiet, don't take a room on the first floor. “When I came into the town of Shipshewana at 3ish I noticed that the traffic signals was not working and found out before checking in that there was no electricity in the entire town because of a storm overnight. “Chose this hotel based on photos online we were disappointed. Upon arrival it does appear to be in renovation so hopefully will get better, but the hotel next door was very questionable and there were people wandering about near the parked cars in our lot. The room itself had a funny smell and was passably clean, but in bad need of update.
