“The location of the property is extremely weird for some reason. While the main MG road is probably just 20 meters from the back of the building, one has to climb up steep and again walk down for about 20 Mins ! Very exhausting and frustrating so one would think 5 times before going for this ridiculous exercise. Wonder why the owners are unable to negotiate with one of the properties behind exclusively for their guests to simply walk past a 4 feet lane way so they can come and go in 2 Mins and...

“The property was good and clean; the poolside seating adds to the view. The rooms have a big balcony and a view. The only con is that the property is pretty far from MG Road, and you have to book a taxi from the road. No cab was available at the hotel and restrauant timing were very strict to 9 PM. They had very few guests on the day we travelled.”

“Enorm vacker Maharaja Palace, kristallkronor, antika möbler i mycket bra skick! Vi hade svit med fantastisk utsikt mot bergen, mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Manager Mr.Basu är mycket trevlig, proffsig och serviceorienterad person. Restaurant Shangli La är bästa i Sikkim, chef kan fixa vilken mat som helst. Jag kan varmt rekommendera detta fantastiska hotel. ”

“Will go back to stay there. Everything was immaculate.”

“I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay in your family room. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations due to several service and facility issues. First, the hotel felt quite congested, and room service was difficult to reach. After 9:00 PM, calls to the staff went unanswered. Additionally, the hair dryer policy is highly inconvenient; it is unusual for a hotel to have only five units to circulate among all guests upon request. Most concerning was the condition of...

“Excellent ”

“It's a decent property. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Food is good. Room and toilet very clean. They have a cafe where they keep extremely delicious cream rolls. It's definitely not worth 4 stars accreditation. Wifi hardly worked. TV was so small that I wondered why that was even kept. My booking voucher said they bed size was such that 3 people can sleep. In reality it was barely good enough for 2 people to squeeze in. Location wise it's a hassle to go to MG market. Atleast I...

“Hotel was good and reception was very good. However I noticed two things that could be improved. We stayed for a couple of nights. The bed was very soft and was giving a back ache. It would be good for one night stays but for longer stays, the beds are soft. Second was the bathrooms didn’t have floor towels or mats. After the shower the bathroom floor gets wet and has high probability of slipperiness. Not good for old people. ”

“A very warm welcoming hotel.good food.Neat & Clean. However we were sold rooms with a Bathtub & the Room didn't have one.But the Staff Hospitality more than made up for it.We enjoyed our stay of 3 nights.”

“Rooms are heated. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Provided room service when needed and very timely”

“The staff were incredibly helpful, from arranging taxis to suggesting great places to visit. The food was truly authentic and delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind.”

“The staff was excellent. They helped bring my clothes back and forth to a laundry, cooked breakfast, catch a cab upon departure, and Marie’s my bags up and down the stairs. I Opted for a room with a view and it was with every penny.”

“It was quite a good stay. You need to rent room heaters separately. Front desk guys exceptional. ”
