“Room and bed comfortable, walk in shower, table top ironing board and iron were very useful prior to a family wedding.
Green table cafe on site is really good. Also The White Hart provided hotel breakfasts.
Staircases were a little fusty with an odd air freshener to compensate. Its an old listed building so to be expected but might smell fresher if the stair carpets were steam cleaned and better air fresheners.

“Very poor 'welcome' from the receptionist. She seemed miserable and dis-interested. She also could not find our pre-booked details initially and then when she did, tried to charge us an additional £75 even though we had paid in full.
On the plus side, the room was very good. Very clean, comfortable bed and a good shower. Only two teabags on the tray, which was either an oversight or just a bit mean.”
“Overall a good quality hotel with very friendly staff. Not very soundproof doors so we heard alot of sound from the corridors. Pool area could be cleaner. We would definately come back and stay here again.”

“I called just to confirm that we would be able to go to the office to collect the keys on Sunday and that the office would definitely be open , even had an email confirming this but this was not the case - luckily for us someone in the office was able to call us to confirm the process that we had to take to collect the keys , just as well that we had a signal where we were on the time of the call !!
