“The guy checking us in was super nice. Bed was comfortable. Place needs updating. No refrigerator no microwave in the rooms. The carpet was disgusting.”

They will charge you $2.00 per day to have access to the hotel safe, which is a bit odd. You have to ask them to reverse the charge when you leave, so it will catch some people. “This is a very nice, clean, comfortable hotel with a good complimentary breakfast and plenty of parking very close to the entrance of Presque Isle State Park. The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious. We were greeted with a smile from Property Manager, Rudy, who was friendly and accommodating. My husband and I stayed for four nights and we would surely stay here again the next time we are in Erie.”

At the time of booking, there was no indication that the pool was out of service or that the gym was closed. These are important amenities, and both the hotel and Expedia should ensure that such information is clearly disclosed before guests make a reservation. “This is a clean hotel that is a good place to stay before heading to Niagara. It was convenient that the washing machine and dryer could be used for free as long as you provided detergent. The staff were also very friendly.”
