“Great hotel clean staff was great the issues we had were a smoke alarm at 430am which of course was not the hotels fault but billing was they charged the 250 deposit plus 1000 on top of the cost of the room it did take a few days but once I called the hotel they got on it immediately and within an few hours it was released !!”

“It’s difficult to find moderately priced accommodation in Victoria, so the Arbutus Inn served us well. It was on a major bus route and had ample parking, so maneuvering through the city was not difficult. There was a Tim’s and a diner within a block, so there were food options right near by. “Staff, clean room and laundry room”

“Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The pub on the property was reasonably priced and the food was good.”

“Room was very spacious, staff were helpful and parking was great. Excellent location! There was poor lighting in the bedroom and no screen door on the balcony. It was hot the week we visited and the room did not have AC. Being on the top floor it got to over 26 in our room and it was hard to sleep. Since there was no screen door, it was hard to cool the room down at night.”

“The staff was great. However, this is a rundown motel at best. Carpets are filthy (stained from wear and tear), there's a resident cat that lives in the lobby, there is no AC in the rooms- they put floor fans in the rooms that are filthy and covered in dust.”
