“The staff is the shining star of Emerald Resort. The resort is in need of updating, it has a great location and all the rooms face the beach but it is rundown. Which gives off as not being clean. At breakfast one of my travel companions' breakfast came with butter packets and one of the butter packets had already been used. Plus the sugar bowl had empty packets in it and the jelly packets had food smeared on the bottom which says they reuse them for other guests.”

“If my review was solely on the view and the staff it would be a perfect review
However the rooms and property need maintenance the sliding glass doors need roller replacement little hot water
The pool was great and we were treated to a barbecue
The on-site restaurant has excellent food and dining choices we had dinner there enjoyed the seafood soup the shrimp tarts and jerk chicken pasta
Also included in stay was breakfast which was very hearty eggs potato’s and bacon

“We really wanted to love everything about this place, but the service is the worst that I have ever experienced at any hotel! They did a great job with the branding and marketing but unfortunately the experience does not live up to the expectation.
