Spectacular view
We (2 adults, 3 children aged 8, 11 and 13) rented this apartment for 15 days . It has truly been a very relaxing fortnight. The apartment has got anything you need when it comes to getting by in the kitchen etc.
Beds were comfortable, although the two bedrooms facing towards the A7 were a bit noisy due to traffic (earplugs will do the trick!)
Livingroom and bedroom no 3 are facing the sea and the large balcony. Here, you hear nothing of the noise from the street. Getting out on this balcony you have the most stunning view of the garden, the pool, the palmtrees and the endless sea. A couple of mornings we actually saw dolphins play in the ocean outside! We had all our meals in the balcony.
Most of the time we were alone in the pool area. Towards the end of our stay, in the beginning of July, more people started to come, but the place was never crowded. The beach just below is very nice, not many people there either. If you fancy an morning run, you can run towards Casares del Mar and just keep going by the sea.
To get around it would be advisable to rent a car. There are supermarkets quite close, but not within walking distance. There is a small shop quite close on the other side of the road, but the road is very busy and you have to walk quite far to reach the pedestrian bridge. If you do rent a car, there are lots of places worth visiting around. We went to Ronda, Gibraltar, Casares (in the mountains), Estepona’s old town and a couple of markets.
Contact with the owner has been very smooth, we haven’t had to ask for anything, but have been thoroughly informed about everything - directions, who to get in touch with etc. Richard and Gerry helping out with the apartment were also very easy to get in touch with and were very helpful!
We certainly recommend a stay in this lovely place and would be glad to come back.
